Heh, and I was about to jump to your defense too. I just can't let people make fun of southerners and our rather unique dialect. Why if someone started making fun of my everytime I typed ain't....ohh, wait, Darien already does that:mad: Hmmm, I think I slip off somewhere and hide now. Teach me to open my big mouth:p

Crawl, dear... I don't make fun of you when you type "ain't." It's when you type "dang" that cracks me up. ;)

Aww... you know I'm kidding with ya! I love that sexy drawl. :p

Where exactly is Alabama and why are those people so stupid? :)

I think the South and Alabama in particular are great. The North appreciates your efforts to demonstrate how much smarter we are. :) :) :)

Alabama is at the southern end of the US right above florida

and we are not stupid

FYI: Jamie Thomas (a awsome skateboarder) comes from here along with a number of good skaters that some of them i happen to be freinds with

IMHO----southerns are a lot more friendly and provide a better atmosphere to be in than either the north or the east, or west coast. And since I have lived on the east coast, on the west coast, in the south, and currently reside in the north. I think I am an educated speaker on the subject.

Lighten up kiddies, it was a joke.
Satiana, I too have lived in the south (North Carolina and South Carolina). I agree that the people are more friendly. The main thing that I found extremely uncomfortable was the social segregation and prejudice (especially in Columbia, South Carolina).

Before you piss on me, note I said SOCIAL segregation. West of Columbia there is a newer mall. The only black people I saw there worked there. The old mall (in eastern Columbia near where I lived) is where the black people shopped. Additionally, the religious prejudice is incredible. I was raised Catholic and many of the so-called "Christians" looked at me like I was sprouting horns.
If this is a sign of intelligence, then I don't want to be intelligent.

Pholks from Alabama are Very good people on certain aspects. They are loyal, but they are southern. They have a certain mentality that is a front. That ARE freindly, but are not to be trusted entirely. They hate you as much as anyone else, and have a secret dislike of foreiners or northfolk. This dislike is as a whole irrelevent, as "Who cares" because it dosn't matter on the whole. But I thought I'd state a few truths about How Alabamians feel. (No I am from Boston, I just am a genius in trainning)
