First I've got too say that I love playing and watching tennis so this time of the year I'm really happy with wimbledon going on.

Do you follow the tournement and if so who do you think has the best chances of winning the championship (male and female)

My bet would be on Andy Roddick although I secretly hope that Sjeng Schalken (Dutch hope), who yesterday won a 5 sets thriller against Lapentti, will have a shot at it.

For the woman I think it will be or Clijsters or Henin.

Too bad Verkerk is already out, i enjoy watching his facial expressions. But my bet is Agassi wins the men's, and Serena the women's.

Anyone catch the full Rusedski outburst yesterday? Not bad for daytime television.

I think he managed to get in about 4F's and at least on W*nk live at about 6.30 in the evening. It was like having Johnboy back. Gripping stuff. Fined $2,500 which I think was probably getting off lightly to be honest.

Johnny Mac was on the BBC team last night when they talked about it, and was asked about how much he had been fined in his time. He reckoned about $250k in total for his career. Ouch. At least it goes to charity I suppose.

Yup, hard not to follow Wimbledon to some extent in the UK, and I've been hooked since Borg won it in 76.

As for winners: Mens - Federer or Agassi, Womens - Serena Williams.

I'm a rare thing in Britian, someone who really dislikes wimbledon and tennis. I can't play tennis because I hit the ball right over the net, over the court, over the net of the court on the next playground, over the fence, then into a tree in the school next to ours. So I serve best when on one of the adjacent courts (normally 2 or 3 away).

Oh and I find tennis boring to watch, and to play. I think the points are silly. Why can't they count points normally!

Table Tennis on the other hand.. now That rocks! It's hard to play on grass (artificial or real) though :heh:

Congratulations to Roger Federer on winning the Gentlemen's Singles! Yago, a fine specimen of Swiss sporting talent!

He was brilliant throughout, and unbelievable in the Semi and Final.

As for winners: Mens - Federer or Agassi, Womens - Serena Williams. I should have gone down the bookies! :)
