There was a post earier about the "remove curse" spell to be cast on the BGII CD's. Does anyone have a spare copy of a "resurrect and heal compuer" scroll?

Man, this thing of mine crashed twice during the last week :mad:

First time it burned my power supply, motherboard, HDD, VideoCard, processor and modem. This Saturday the power just turned off by itself and I can't get it to start again. :mad:

Poor soul, reads terrific. I guess it´s rather like a major electrical problem than a software bug.

However (just what comes to my mind, no insult intended) hope it helps to sort out your problem:
-Checked your system for virusses regularly?
-Do you have a constant power supply? (integrated curcuits are sensitive to voltage drops - it´s cold in Belorus now and lots of people heat with electricity)
-Is your computer second hand or a new one?

1) Yes, I have an antivirus shield active all the time.

2) Yes, I have a normal power supply - and when it crashed both times the light didn't blink, and everything else in my apt worked fine.

3) My computer is 2 years old, but when I bought it it was new :)

4) Wise people say, it was an internal failure, because I have an ATX mini-tower that has built-in protections from the power chutes. It didn't work, so it looks like it was the internal shortcut of the 5V over 12V.
