View Full Version : Who were you in highschool? chevalier Sat, 5th Apr '03, 12:31am http://www.emode.com/tests/highschool/ Death Rabbit Sat, 5th Apr '03, 12:51am That survey is rediculous. It sounds like it was written by someone who's life ended after high school. They were probably semi-popular, insisted EVERYONE sign their yearbook, were in 30 different school clubs, and cried hysterically at graduation. I'll sum the whole thing up for you: Were you the Brainy Nerd, the Snotty Chearleader, the Dumb Jock, the Introverted Deep Artistic Goth, or...the Author of this survey? Wow....that just sucked like 3 IQ points right out of my head....ouch  I guess that's my smart ass way of saying 'none of the above.' But if I were to pick the high-school stereotype that fit me best, I would proudly say "band nerd." Drums rule. [ April 05, 2003, 00:57: Message edited by: Death Rabbit ] chevalier Sat, 5th Apr '03, 1:30am Well, sorry to inform you, but that answer isn't really as smart-ass as you think. Anyway, waiting for more replies. Death Rabbit Sat, 5th Apr '03, 1:43am chevelier, I wasn't knocking you at all. I was commenting on the author of the survey you linked to. I read THAT and thought it was ridiculous, not your post. Sorry if it came off that way. I actually think this will be an interesting string. To wit, what category did you fit into? Or did you have your own category? dmc Sat, 5th Apr '03, 1:51am Wow, that was pretty bad. I found I had to settle for the closest of many bad answers on a majority of the questions. It said I was a "brooding artist." That's funny as I'm not sure which I was farther from, the brooding artist type or the complete stoner type. Oh well. (FYI, if you're interested, I was halfway between a jock and a computer/math geek.) chevalier Sat, 5th Apr '03, 3:36am OK, OK, I'm calling it a day, only that test is not that serious as it tends to be taken. I suppose the authors also understand that labels don't work perfectly, but well, we can't have some 5 bln different summaries. So, everyone take it easy and do the test for fun only. ;) FYI I was the popular kid. :D Ofelix Sat, 5th Apr '03, 4:02am Class clown (Actualy I haven't finish High scholl but for some of the question what I will proprably do) now can I get my mounth closed? gess no! Hephaestus Sat, 5th Apr '03, 5:43am I'm the way too intense guy in the corner that doesn't look like he should be there. 8people Sat, 5th Apr '03, 9:53am I know I'm a Nerd anyway :spin: Eze Sat, 5th Apr '03, 10:10am Broody dark goth artistic sick disturbed type. I know it already. Faragon Sat, 5th Apr '03, 10:15am I was the alternative guy who didn't give a damn about what "popular" people thought about him. I'm still that guy, but now with shorter hair :) Shell Sat, 5th Apr '03, 10:32am Shell, you were a Brooding Artist Laughing in homeroom, crying in third period, brooding at lunchtime. It's nothing serious — just part of the act for a brooding artist like yourself. Whether it's acting, painting, writing, or interpretive dance, your channels of expression might have made you a little "different" in high school. But today it's these differences that separate your talent from all those wannabe "creatives" out there. Read more about who you were in high school... Bashing tests like this is pointless, you need to take em for what they are and dont expect to get a full fledged analysis of your entire personality and personal history. 8people Sat, 5th Apr '03, 12:18pm  lol It actually says I'm a brooding artist  Dragon's Jewel Sat, 5th Apr '03, 1:17pm Heh. I was a brooding artist. I almost didn't post a reply because I couldn't think of something funny to say about the fact that I wasn't very artistic, or brooding. I was actually kinda cheerful. Sprite Sat, 5th Apr '03, 2:40pm Rebel: "Whatever. From what we can tell, it's no surprise you were such a rebel in high school. Let's see, rules were meant to be broken and authority was supposed to be ignored, right? Spend a lot of time in detention? If not, it probably just meant you were wily enough to get away with it. Sure, these days, the old piercings may have filled in and the tattoos might be faded, but you've still got a bit of the bad apple in you. With a healthy disdain for regulations, rebels are often happiest working as their own boss. Be it president of your own company, drummer in a band, or just suburban super dad/soccer mom, you still play by your own rules and you've got the speeding tickets to prove it." Given the alternatives, it's probably about right. And I am indeed self-employed now - but the tattoos are still bright thanks to regular exfoliation. ;) Kitrax Sat, 5th Apr '03, 8:18pm Rebel here...that fits. I was usually skipping classes to hang out in the electronics lab, or the wood shop with the other "Rebels", or meeting with my VP to discuss my all the classes I've missed. I can't believe that Sprite and I are the only 2 Rebels here! :rolling: Oaz Sat, 5th Apr '03, 8:24pm I'm not a high school graduate, but I took it anyways. I'm somehow a rebel. Funny. I always thought of myself as a faceless cattle-drone. Elios Sun, 6th Apr '03, 12:53am Popular Kid Were you voted most popular, class president, homecoming king/queen? Was there a line just to sign your yearbook? Omigod! You were probably the envy of the entire student body! If they could only see you now...they'd probably still be totally jealous. Sure, your charm and people skills come naturally, but that doesn't mean you rest on your laurels. Or good looks and sense of style, for that matter. You're probably always looking for, like, bigger challenges and high-pressure situations in which you thrive and shine. A lot of your peers still look up to you, which has probably helped propel you toward positions of leadership. So even if there were enough hours in the day to attend all the events you're invited to, your work and home schedules probably wouldn't allow it. Yes, you were dealt quite a hand, but as your guidance counselor always told you, it's how you play that hand that really counts. Ok, no lines to sign my yearbook, but I did always have a lot of signatures. I'm kinda surprised, but I was also pretty much a class clown, but the results didn't say anything about that. Incidently, my counselor did say something to the effect about the hand I was dealt. I was also one of the few times a non-jock got elected homecoming king in my school! Was a band and orchestra member too. chevalier Sun, 6th Apr '03, 1:03am Well, feel free to share custom-made labels if none really much or not quite perfectly :) For me add something from geek, from rebel and well... maybe from that artist a bit, but only a bit. Definitely not the sporty one however. Falstaff Sun, 6th Apr '03, 8:22am Surprise, surprise - Me -- a rebel!!!! How did I know?!?!?! Beren Mon, 14th Apr '03, 7:35am I was sort of a metal-head and a brainiac rolled into one, yet I stayed out of trouble long enough to make it into university. So ... I wouldn't quite fit into the 'rebel' label. Intentioner of the Damned Mon, 14th Apr '03, 11:04am I got the Artistic Poof one first, then retook it and got Teacher's Pet. The teacher's pet one was closer than the artistic one, but neither are particularly acurate. I'm a bit like Beren - i was a major metalhead rebel. I was also near the top of most of my classes. The overall effect made me somewhat of an outcast. But that didn't bother me much, i never really liked most of the guys in my class anyway. Now i'm the total opposite though. At uni everyone is pretty clever, so there is no ridicule for being clever, and i'm one of the most noisy people in my class. Fallen Paladin Mon, 14th Apr '03, 9:06pm Another rebel here... |
