Did any of you catch the last X-Files show last Sunday? The series finale was a two hour review of the basic plot, leading to a very anti-climatic ending.

Did anyone else catch what "the truth" was? I nearly missed it!!! :borg:

Any other opinions on how the series ended?

Personally, I loved it until just before Mulder left. After that, I could hardly stand to watch it. Scully and the Terminator (from T2, not Arnold!) were not a good team. I'm extremely happy that they finally put the poor show out of its misery!

They way they did it ... lets just say that in the history of series finale's, this one was down there with Seinfeld for being the most self-serving and least interesting of the bunch. Sorry, but as Fox Mulder would say .... The Truth Needs To Be Told.

The "truth" is: Aliens are coming...and we'll have to pay $8-10 dollars to see it!! Because the X-Files is moving to movies! :alien:

I think when they said that the aliens are coming to invade earth it will be in 2012. Is this forshadowing a movie to come?

I missed like the last 5 minutes when I had to use the bathroom! What happened?

What did you miss?

Did you see the Smoking Man get nuked pueblo style?

If you saw that, you saw all that matters. After that Scully & Mulder talked a little about their feelings (gag) and then ... they .... I can barely bring myself to remember this scene .... kissed.

Eeek! Eggads! How dare they!

Bel ... on the movie ... I think we've already scene it. It's called "Independence Day" ! ;) :alien:

Only the first half of the 2-hour was recapping stuff. The other half still wasn't that good. There will be another movie, probably answering some questions the last show failed to answer. (How the hell is Krycek up and alive again?)

Krycek wasn't alive, it was just crazy stuff in Mulder's head. Like when he saw the lone gunmen in the desert. I was a bit annoyed with the show though, it left too much up in the air.

Then I didnt miss anything. I saw it all the way up till about a minute in to the hotel. I thought that I might have missed something big.

I thought that they would at least show the aliens taking Mulder again.

They left way too much out there, that episode really dissapointed me:( I just hope the next movie will be at least as good as the first:)

Are the Lone Gunmen dead??!?!?!?!?!?! I've lost touch with the X-Files over the last two years! I remembered their spin-off...That didn't last (I liked them in the smaller role on X, but couldn;t get into their show) Are they really dead?!?!? Tell me, tell me, tell me!!

Yep. They died as heros to save people from a deadly biological weapon. :)

Yes they are so dead. They were traped with a man who's heart was the carier of a desease that would release at 10:00. They got him in to a hall way and when the hall way was shut down. They were inclosed with it and exposed there for killed.

**Sniffle** I loved those guys, man!! The pain, the pain, oh the pain!!! I was better off not knowing that!!!

Was it in their series or on the X-Files?

I missed their death too. :mommy::wail:

I think I came up with a better ending .....

After 1.5 hours of aliens, action and excitment ... Mulder wakes up. He is surrounded by Doreto bags and Star Trek action figures, a large die-cast Battlestar Galactica hangs in the background.

The last 7 years have been a dream. Sculley is Mulder's old English teacher that he had the hots for, the Lone Gunmen are Mulder's geek friends, and Krycek is a soap opera star whose show was on while Mulder was sleeping. ;)

That would be a great ending Mathetais:lol: So Mulder's got the "Sixth Sense" thing going on, this could be a very interesting movie if they do it right;)

TLG died on the X-Files show. I don't even think TLG show is even around anymore.

I was just wondering if that's how their series ended...
