I don't know if the song "Asereje" aka "Catsup Song" by Las Ketchup is also popular in your country but it is starting to show the fad that Macarena once had here. I don't really mind the song but there are a couple of rumors that have been surrounding it. These are:

1. The lyrics of the song is not truly Spanish but rather composed of Spanish (whether of Spain or South America) with "made-up" words (or whatever).

2. It is Satanic, or something along that line.

Take note, these are just rumors, and I'm trying to find some truth. So I need some help from you people... especially those who can speak Spanish. I need you to translate the song into english.

And please... this is serious. (though I'm not sure if this should be in Alley of Dangerous Angles, I'll let the mods decide on that). And should anyone think that this is sort of pointless, I beg your pardon to ask you to hold your comment... maybe until a translation can be made. Thanks.

I agree, it's one of the worst songs ever. And the dance thing is the most annoying dance I've ever seen. But recently one of my friends proved (damn cameras!) that I had danced it at a party. On a table. Half-naked. :o

The Ketchup song is... well, the singers should be shot and mashed up so they can kethup everywhere, there music deserves to be dinsintergrated, not even my Spanish friend liked it (she's into this sort of thing) and didn't have a clue what anything was.
