View Full Version : Custom Voice Packs NoYur_Role Sun, 4th Nov '01, 6:41am I was just wondering, do you guys use any specialized voice packs and if you do which ones do you like the best? mark, the beneficial shah Sun, 4th Nov '01, 7:13am Vader is awsome. He's on this site. Cool download. NoYur_Role Sun, 4th Nov '01, 7:49am hehehe...I was hoping someone would bring that one up...:evil::cool: I hate to imbellish (spelling?) but I must say I am very proud of that one. By the way if there is any more cool Vader remarks I might have missed, just let me know. Mollusken Sun, 4th Nov '01, 11:59am Murray is the best! Spudsquisher Sun, 4th Nov '01, 1:03pm well, if you are playing a gnome, go for terrence, if you are playing a sorcerer go for murray, anyone eles i use the old bg1 sounds, but i try not to re-use sound sets.. Grojlach Sun, 4th Nov '01, 2:05pm Here are a few I compiled myself (took a lot of time): http://members.tripodnet.nl/Grojlach/ I've made three, both available in an Icewind Dale and a Baldurs Gate version. I've got voice packages for Bender, Zap Brannigan and Stewie. Bender is a character from Futurama, a hilarious cartoon from the same creators as the Simpsons. He's a (klepto) maniacal, alcohol addicted killerrobot and is perfect for any evil aligned character. Zap Brannigan is also a character from Futurama. This set is perfect for a paladin. Stewie is a character from Family Guy, another hilarious cartoon. He's a brilliant yet evil little baby, always making plans for world domination and for killing his mother. He is perfect for any evil aligned character, especially for gnomes and halflings. Spudsquisher Sun, 4th Nov '01, 11:00pm please e-mail those to tal! Grojlach Mon, 5th Nov '01, 1:24am What do you mean? NoYur_Role Mon, 5th Nov '01, 1:31am must admit that Stewie one is awesome.... Mollusken Mon, 5th Nov '01, 7:52am E-mail the sound set to sorcerer -AT- sorcerers.net and they will be put up on this site. Grojlach Mon, 5th Nov '01, 12:02pm Ah, that's what you mean! But I'm unsure if it's really smart to e-mail those soundsets.. They're quite... big. 5 to 8 MB-ish each. :D Don't want to clog up Tal's inbox, now do we? ;) [This message has been edited by Grojlach (edited November 05, 2001).] Spudsquisher Mon, 5th Nov '01, 1:38pm then email him about how he would like to recieve them, cos they really are good. and deserve to be downloaded by all.. * * * * don't go getting all big headed! you are not a Jedi yet!! [This message has been edited by Spudsquisher (edited November 05, 2001).] Grojlach Mon, 5th Nov '01, 2:05pm Thanks! I appreciate the compliments. :) Well, I'll just drop an e-mail if he's interested in those soundsets. If not (because they're too big for example), it won't be the end of the world. ;) kemanmaldea Mon, 5th Nov '01, 10:17pm Hopefully tal will accept them, If not I supose we could just get them from your site. Turambar Mon, 5th Nov '01, 11:05pm Really cool soundsets keep makin more like them, maybe some simpsons sounds too Great job the_eleven Tue, 6th Nov '01, 7:49am Bender that's too cool. i'll have to try that one out. the 4 that i prefer are as follows: Dak'kon Vhailor Annah Kivan Spudsquisher Tue, 6th Nov '01, 7:56pm futurama: Why does Zap Brannigan always wear a mini skirt? Grojlach Fri, 16th Nov '01, 12:54am They're up... ;) http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/index_editors.htm the_eleven Fri, 16th Nov '01, 1:20am Sweet, thanks. I just snagged the Bender soundset. I listened to most of the lines and so far my favorite is "Hey look, the suns are setting. I can finally switch to hard liquor" too funny! I haven't used the set in game yet, but I plan on doing so tonight. thanks again Grojlach. Mollusken Fri, 16th Nov '01, 8:07am I've made some soundsets from the Diablo 1 character types warrior, sorcerer and rogue. Taluntain will be putting them up soon ;). |
