Has anyone seen this movie is it good?
Is it worth seeing?

I haven't seen it, but from reading different reviews, I heard it sucked. The reviews said that the movie should be as interesting as watching the game.

You don't go to a movie like this for the quality of the film.
You go to see Lara in that tight tight costume moaning every time she climbs up a ledge.... :D :D :D

well, then we aren't talking about seeing the movie now are we :p

I have to admit...I'm more interested in seeing Angelina Jolie than I am about seeing Tomb Raider. She's pretty hot! If a little psycho.

But then again, when it comes to women, I am a psycho magnet! :D

It hasn't been released here in the UK, but the previews I have seen seem to capture the spirit of the game and Lara quite well. I must admit that the lure of Angelina Jolie will probably have a similar affect on me as it does Sir Bel.

Anyway, I hear that the critics have slammed the film as a no brainer with no plot. However, the public seem to love it as it is smashing box office records. Hopefully that means that this is another example of the critics getting all arsey and deciding to slam a film because they think it makes them cool to do so. I had expected that reaction just because it is based on a computer game. Anyway, for some background reading have a look at these links:

I've watched the show. Action is mediocore. Story is ****. Nothing much. Angelina Jolie keeps puckering her lips to make it look thick but it looks *****y.
All in all, the show doesn't really suck as bad as dungeons and dragons, but it still issn't worth my 8 bucks

Angelina always reminds me on an event with a friend of mine and a (unknown)girl which had a similar bust, covered with a Benetton polo-shirt.
My friend closed up till his nose was almost touching her breasts and then he said in a very simple-minded way 'oh, the left one is Benetton, but how do you call the right one?'
She was too perplex to answer him anything. :D

LOL the movie in and of itself was really really bad, but angelina jolie was really really good, if you catch my meaning ;)

I have not seen the movie yet but I read it wasn't bad for an action movie. I mean this year the movies released in the US have been extraordinarially bad. At least this one has a plot.

Of course one goes to see Tomb Raider! One goes to see the Tomb Raider herself...

There is a girl on my school who looks just like her ;). Same big eyes, lips, breasts, long legs and one hell of an ass! Too bad I will not see her before school starts in august, but then again, she is a good reason to go to that godforsaken place!

I hate the game (the control in particular), but I thought the movie was really cool (translation good/okay with neat special effects).

I was happy to see Arnold J. Rimmer from the Red Dwarf show, I'm a big fan of all that British comedy sci fi humor.

Just saw it last night... Stupid storyline but Angelina Jolie in those costumes is insteresting. Strangly enough the cinema was mainly filled with guys :D

I saw it last weekend and liked it. It's not the best film ever, but I knew that going in. Reasons to see it are the action and the star.

The plot has a few major problems that didn't make any sense and they implied a some of the relationships without explaining them, for example... *SPOILER* There's a rival Tomb Raider that Lara Croft obviously has had past dealings with mixed feelings about, but that is never fully explained. So her choice to try and save him in the end, even though he was helping the "bad guys" is never understood by us the viewer. (not to mention she uses the power of an artifact that she was told she shouldn't use to save the character)*END SPOILER*

Out of five stars I give it 3 stars. (But, 5 stars to Angelina Jolie :D)

Did I mention I have a huge sized Lara Croft poster on my bedroom wall?

I just talked to a gay hairdresser who saw it and loved it. So there has to be better reasons that Angelina Jolie to see it! :D

I'm still waiting until it comes out on video, but then again, I'm cheap! ;)
