First, let me reveal it to you that this topic is not what it seems at first glance. Now that you are properly warned, we can begin.
In a Polish forum which I grace with my worthy contribution (though that forum can hardly compare to our wondrous boards, I just have to use my native languague sometimes ;) ), I have recently sighted, to my utmost surprise, a valid and interesting problem being discussed. As you will understand later, I was for obvious reasons coerced and compelled to reply and that's essentially what this topic will address.
Among the usual, in such cases, malicious and unfair *****ing not worthy of quoting in whole and practically identical with my list of most annoying typically female qualities, my weary eyes spotted the following:
A lady remarked that what first draws us to people is what later annoys us supremely. Some two paragraphs later she claimed that it was lack of responsibility that was the most annoying thing in men.
Consequently, I logically concluded that
what women find alluring in men is lack of responsibility
I urge you to elaborate on the subject.
Later, another lady made the following point:
Lack of courage
Although she mentioned that she did not in fact mean bullrushing every other man encountered (such salvatory clauses are sometimes needed in the said forum), but that was about all. She was quite clear, however, that men are typically lacking in courage while it's their primary duty to protect their women (where I essentially agree wholeheartedly but not in the context in which it was said) and critique was running rampant.
As you see, I was compelled and coerced to reply with words of reason :holy: Please allow me now to quote my reply, translated freely in order to sound better in English, and feel free and encouraged to comment.
What do you expect then? That the man will start a fight if someone looks at you in a less than respectful manner, whistles, or just says something stupid? And what then? You and your beloved will be separated by the court [in the meaning that he goes to prison - chev]. And what then? Do you think that he will not ponder what he is in prison for? Or, in other scenario, why he's made himself enemies of the local bullnecks? And what will that give you? But, of course, a man will think about that 'after' and not 'before'.
There's one more thing: is it right to beat up the other guy for saying something stupid? And when women enter the stage, it does get to silly things - 'This lady doesn't like the way you look at her'.
Guess what I did when, at a party, a friend's sister asked me, in quite a big style, to take care of some drunken fan who was not really adroit in expressing his admiration? I went to him, told him he was drunk and told him to shut up. And so it all ended, even though I could fissure him into atoms there and I would surely benefit from that since I was hitting on that girl at that time. But I won't pound on a man so that a woman has something to look at. Do you think that when I as two dashed guys each bigger than I start courting girls I met minutes ago, that I am playing a hero? Or trying to impress someone? Or deserve something? I'd have not be in my sane mind.
And then women keep chatting about how brutal men are and how they would only fight all the time and how they think they'll get girls that way. And what idiots they are to rush n times more or n times bigger guys to impress a woman.
Settling the matter without substantial damage to surrounding property, however, is labelled as 'lack of courage'.So, now that I feel confident that you realise the gravity of the problem :D , please share your reflections on the points above and what the most annoying typically male traits actually are ;)
A few hints from me are: contradicting expectations, illogical expectations, and whose domain fondness of brutality in fact is despite it being suggested otherwise :D
