Well, I guess that I have put off answering long enough...

Yes, I am the master procrastinator - known to write twenty page papers the night before they are due, and still somehow get an A on them!!

I AM A GOD!

I procrastinate way more then I should... probably because I'm such a lazy slob most of the time. No matter how much I try to sych myself up to actually DO something this year at school, clean my room, go to the bank, etc, etc, I always find SOME reason not to do it. Most annoying most of the time.

Actually it was a little hard to choose one option because sometimes I procrastinate (like changing the kitty litter) and sometime I get it done right away (like doing the dishes) I depends on how badly I don't want to do them later,

Been so long since I was at school, but these days I procrastinate way too much. Things usually get done a week or so after I intend to do them

As I am mostly work at home behind my computer wrting papers and my thesis, it can be very tempting to play a little game for a few hours (or days...)

I have spent two yeeasr (to the day... it be me anniversary here!) spamming in SP instead of schoolwork or anything even remotely profitable. How's that for procastrinating?

I'm much more of a procrastinator now than I ever was in high school or college.

Back in high school I was a fairly bad procastinator but I was smart enough and the work load was light enough that I never had any problem putting things together in the last couple days before something was due. I didn't have any bad experiences where I got burned due to procastinating. I was always able to tell roughly how much work I need to do on a project and I always gave myself enough time to do it.

During my university years, the work load was considerably greater so that after first year I was pretty well working non-stop and just taking enough leisure time to avoid going bonkers.

Now that I am working I tend to work on things as soon as I get them, my clients are waiting for them after all. When it comes to the administrative projects that I handle (mostly computer related) I tend to procastinate only in that I put them off until I have no urgent client related work to do.

The one area that I AM still a bad procastinator is housework. I will generally only do the laundry when I know I will have nothing to wear the following day etc.

You only live once, what's the point of being boring! Procrastinate, but not by doing boring stuff.

I'm a lot better than I used to be, but for the most part yes - I procrastinate so much that I actually put off procastinating until later. Yikes.

Except for bills. I pay those the day I get them in the mail, and a month ahead so I never get behind. There's something very comforting about seeing a monthly bill with a balance of "$0.00" and paying it anyway. :D

I put it off when I knew I wasn't going to do that right. Sometimes sleeping well before a test is more important than studying. Deadlines tend to be quite relative for me, unless that migh end really bad for me. I also put off some semestral history essays in highschool and generally wholeheartedly neglected literature homeworks. My English activity book was clean and tidy (come on, they 'expected me to work hard' with Headway Intermediate *after* they were shown my CAE). I just hated freaking boring and repetitive assignments or tons of practically identical equations!

I'm putting off doing my maths assignment, and have been for quite some time, and hope to continue doing so in the future (though that is unlikely).

After 40 years I finally graduated up to the slot next lowest from bottom. No kidding, I used to do my math homework (Alg II, trig, whatever) the two minutes before the teacher came into the class. My classmates all seemed to hate me for some reason...

At least I actually turned in most of my homework, correct at that!

I don't procrastinate. Now I don't jump in and automatically do every single piece of work I get simply because I tend to get work for an entire month in advance but I do try to stay a good week or so ahead of schedule. But this has more practical reasons then just making sure I get the work done. I get sick a lot and for long periods at a time so if I'm ahead a week and get sick for a week then I don't have to work 4 times as hard to catch up. :) It's all about practicality.

If the thread is just about done, there is no point in putting off publishing the poll results.
