69 proof for me.

I wonder if Sorvo can beat this... :D

Edit: the main page of the site, http://www.imfanatic.com/ , has links to four other ones that seem truly silly maybe except the drinks one.

134 proof! I didn't think it would be that high  Almost all of those things happened at least once in my life :(

I was 58, I guess it makes sense though. I'm young :D

Forgive me Sorvo for I have sinned with pride. I have succumbed to conceit which led me to error of judgement :D :p

40. But half of the questions made no sense, like the one with leaving the state for cheap alcohol, I'm no Swede who has to find alcohol refugium in Danemark.

But I am pissed, that I seemingly can't keep up the good old myth, that all celts are drunk too hell all of the time.

136 Proof. Sorry Sorvo. Damn last weekend. So much of that happened then. Damn grads and weddings.

61% proof.

14 proof, and most of that was based on my college days!

5 proof for me. Of course I have always been a non-drinker so that doesn't exactly come as a surprise.

Splunge
Wed, 2nd Jul '03, 4:00am
32 proof, but a few months ago, this would have been a lot higher (realized I was drinking too much, so I cut way back.

I'm 69 proof. Not alot. Enough to get me kicked out of University, but hell, it was worth it. :)

@Yago
But I am pissed, that I seemingly can't keep up the good old myth, that all celts are drunk too hell all of the time. I wouldn't worry about it Yago, that's not a myth, it's a racial stereotype.

I'm sure your use of the word myth is probably just a language translation thing. Celtic myths are actually full of swords and sorcerery, with a bit of mead mixed in to add to the devilment. I have heard some strange people like reading about that sort of stuff. ;)

I was 66%, seems like that places me near the top. I have changed! I promise! :good:

Considering I am drinking almost everyday, I did pretty fine.

And what is AB and Red stripe? Must be some non danish brand. And why does Canada have to make you more drunk When changing that name with Norway for europeans would do the same ;)

What are all those americanish bends to the test with songs and keg-something? Where is my plain old scandinavian drunk songs. and what the heck does bonged a beer mean? And why on earth does it make you less drunk if you are nice and cozy when drunk?

Oh and Captain Morgan is spelled wrong in the test :1eye:

Red Stripe is Jamacian beer, kinda looks like the reverse of the "Diver Down" flag :)

Iago
Wed, 2nd Jul '03, 5:19am
At Nobleman: Red Stripe, We've got it here (Heidiland) too.

At Bluin:

In this case I've meant "celtic stereotype". But "myth" has here the connotation (also the connotation next to stories about swords and dragons) "wrong story". He, he, I've meant a famous quote from a roman, describing the celts who live on the alpes as always drunk. :D

Oh and Captain Morgan is spelled wrong in the test [[cyclops]] Canadians are bigger drunks because our Beer is 5% alcohol and American brewed Beer is 3.7%. Songs are international dude, and Keggers arejustkeg parties. A beer bong is a funnel that you chug beer from. A Highschool thing if you ask me.

Nice and cozy isn't really connected to being drunk. I'm a mellow drunk. Most people get ignorant when they are drunk\.

Plus, no one asked about dancing-related ones...

or not remembering with whom one was playing the evening before :D

Canadians are bigger drunks because our Beer is 5% alcohol and American brewed Beer is 3.7%. Isn't 3,7% non-alcoholic? :shake:

@Benanthalin
most people I know don't get ignorant when drunk. And if they are *that* drunk, then they aren't violent. They are borderline sleeping

Iago
Wed, 2nd Jul '03, 3:47pm
There are people who get really aggressive when being drunk. They are obviously people who tend to draw a lot of attention (sadly). But the biggest part of the people just loosen up.

Heineken is evil ! It gives me headaches in the morning ! Drink more Brazilian beer !

Don't they have glasses in Canada ? Or is it some old keg custom ?

58 for me :)

I cant say whether that is good or bad. As long as i restrain myself a bit from drinking too much.

And there are too many questions that require of you to be a USA-living person. Or at least around there.

Wed, 2nd Jul '03, 11:05pm
My Grandparents give me drink, my mother doesn't mind as long as I know when to stop. I am sensible, y'know  even if it is tempting sometimes to have one more. but then again - it's only like once every other month.

chevalier
Thu, 3rd Jul '03, 12:55am
I agree with 8people here. If parents give you beer or wine to dinner you're not really into rampant boozing with friends when the time comes and you know when to stop. Not to mention that I was boozing at the age of 15... or wait, does 80% volume count as boozing? :D

Iago
Thu, 3rd Jul '03, 3:57am
Well, in the day and age of Alcopops. :heh:

You never know. At least she's not allowed in a pub in the evening. But against drinking under parentel guidance, there is nothing to say.

Yeah, 900. :D

11 proof, and, like Rally, based on college and the fact that I drink a Guinness once a month and my wife likes pale ale (it would be less without the more than one beer brand in the fridge question).

The interesting thing is that I don't mind the low rating at all. Is this a sign of maturity or dementia?

I got 44.

That's sick.

I am 13 only. Yippee.

Lazy Bonzo
Thu, 3rd Jul '03, 8:42pm
I got 24. I only drink a lot at parties and even then I'm not one of the ones who are cuing up for headache tablets the next morning :heh: Punch is gooooooood! When it is 3 litres - 1 litre Vodka, 1 litre Archers, 1 litre Pineapple Juice, and some things floating in it that you just don't want to know about! Hehe!!

Iago
Thu, 3rd Jul '03, 10:19pm
Switzerland. Drinking age ? Sixteen beer . Other stuff eighteen. Absinth is forbidden. Alcopops have an eighteen on it. And they'll get extra sin-taxes soon. Sidenote: That sweet stuff, like screwdriver, bacardi-breeze is getting more popular and more popular.

Don't they have glasses in Canada ? Or is it some old keg custom ? lots of glasses... but we don't wash 'em, so better drinkin' from the bottle.

That's stupid. Have you ever woken up and realize you don't know where you are -- or who you are? That happens all the time. But I'm sure I've never been drunk before.
Well even with those stupid questions I got 12.

Benanthalin, I don't know where you got your % figures, but your wrong. American beer averages around 5%. Lite beers are 4.5% and under and Ice beers start at 5.5%. Just getting the facts straight :)

I don't get it- when I click on the link chev had, I get 0 proof, but when I go to the home page and take it, I'm 3 proof...I don't understand.
Since I'm 13 it makes since...the only reason I got that 3 was because my mom and dad listen to jimmy buffet. BTW, that's an awesome song! :D

I'm not drunk, I just have too much blood in my alchohol.

Rallymama
Mon, 7th Jul '03, 8:42am
The same thing happened to me. I think chev's link wasn't for the test, but for the results page - and since you hadn't taken the test yet, you get 0 proof.

I won't be able to go into a bar until november of my second year in university! I'll be seventeen when I graduate high school! :bang:
