Ok this is from what kenneth of darkforest said in the teletubbies vs tweenies poll. -

They finally stopped making teletubbies (at least that's what I heard). That's one giant relief for all us who hate this shows. Has anyone made a poll to see how many of us actually hate these shows? So here is the poll

Assuming you mean reaaaaally little kids programmes, some are wicked, i got a 3 year old sister, and i have to sit through tweenies, but its not bad,

Good Shows:
*Tweenies
*Shiny Show*
*Story makers
*Playdays (sometimes, hate the Patch Stop, Roundabout Stop is muuuuuuch better)

The Titch music is VERY annoying tho, they should shoot all ickle kiddies who atteampt to sing, hold child sinngers auditions as a trap, then cull all the entries

But then there'd be no future, the human race would shrivel up, all little kids sing, and really badly too. :bang:

Plus, Jerry Falwell pointed out that one of the Teletubbies is sporting an inverted pink triangle (the sign of the homosecksuals!), so we know they're evil.

Jerry Falwell is always right ... far right :holy:

I have a 20 month old, and could almost puke when she watches "Dragon Tales" "Clifford the Big Red Dog" or "Arthur".

The Powerpuff Girl ... that's actually funny though ....

Z-lazyrex and Lady Lourex - You are both very correct, the titch song is a painful form of torture.

So you watch tele, you switch the channel to the teletubbies.
Oh, god, change the channel, change it please! Ah!
Thank God, something else. But wait! The tune still plays, it rots through your skull to get to your brains, itīs made to push the little children. Quick change it again!

Some Dutch channel, but the tunes still playes, aaahhh! Turn off the t.v. *sigh* silence.
But 10 seconds later the tune starts playing again, I pick up the t.v., open the window and throw it out in hope of silence.

But the tune keeps playing and playing and images of zombie children out to kill their parents appear inside my head. I quickly rush to my brothers room to check on him. Heīs watching t.v., teletubbies. I turn of his tv. Silence, long awaited silence *sigh*. Pretty darn shame of my t.v. though. :bang: :bang:

The teletubbies are awful. I allowed my daughter to watch an episode about this humongous #4 chasing the teletubbies. At that time my daugther was able to count to 10 but after she saw that show... she refused to say the #4 for atleast 6 months. 1, 2, 3, 5 . Ofcourse when it came to recognizing written letters... #4 was the first one she learned ;)

What's sad is I find myself watching some of her other favorite shows when she's not around.

Has anyone watched the Wiggles?
Or Dora the Explorer?
Oswald?

I used to have some respect for Australians...

nevermore.

Sesame street rules! Gotta love Elmo! (and it's educational too).

Teletubies get boring fast and I've never seen the Tweenies, so I don't know about them.

I love kids shows. My son and I watch them all the time!

Blues Clues! (though the new guy, Joe, is a tool)
Sesame Street
Dora (backpack! backpack!)
Oswald, sometimes, though he can be a bit sedate...
Zooboomafoo
Between the Lions
Reading Rainbow
Clifford is pretty cool too
But not Teletubbies or Barney! EVER!

I have never spoken baby-talk to my kid, and I can't support a show that does, and Barney is just too stupid for words.

Oh yeah, kids programming is where it's at. Much better than the old days.

Little kid shows kick butt there funny as hell. Like Dora the explorer if you want to see that explenation on Dora check out Tweenies vs Teletubbies. Now as for other shows like Blues Clues who would have guessed you could become famouse from that and watch it sometime it's funny to see them say stuff like, "do you see a clue"? The clue is supper big in the wide open to so it's tottaly obvious. It's great there are many other shows simialar to this.

Bugs Bunny rules!!

But, I have to admit,
I'm a fan of -
Sponge Bob Square Pants!
Oh, and who could hate Dexter's Lab?!

Scarampella those arn't considered to be little kid shows. Those are just regular cartoons. I bet a lot of people watch them I watch all of them. I mean come on Bugs Bunny who doesn't enjoy that every once in awhile. Bugs Bunny is very respectable, and has been popular for many years.

psycho-"Bugs Bunny is very respectable, and has been popular for many years."

so has Mickey Mouse

I guess I just consider a kids show to be anything kids watch.

Scrampella you are so dumb. Of course Mickey Mouse has been popular but what does that have to do with the shows that you picked not being little shows.

Little kid shows are the shiznat, but, only if you stay up all night so you become slap happy.

Psycho's right. Just because little kids watch them, doesn't make them little kid shows. Adults like cartoons as well. Yes, there are cartoons that are made for little kids, like Blues Cluses and Dora the explorer, but there are also cartoons made for all audiances. I love to watch the Loony Toons, and some Disney characters, like donald Duck.

Cartoon Network's the only channel I watch :D

As for kids' shows...I haven't had to watch any of the "new breed," but I used to have to watch Barney with my cousin. The scars have healed now, but they'll be there forever :p

We always laugh at her and she says that its her brother that MAKES her watch all the programs.hah.
She says that she HAS to watch them EVERy mornin.
It is actually quite fun to ask her every day, Oh Alice what happened on "Nicke och Nilla" today?
;) :p
I myself don't use to watch those thingies.
But I love that song thats in Teletubbies.
My cousin is a year and a half and she loves em,

Well, thank God I'm over the kids' show age!

I tell you the WORST thing to overcome TV in ages are Teletubies, the idiotic song (you know what I mean) and Barney.

The other shows are somewhat OK, only somewhat in the terms that they only give you a headache

Enough of this stuff through your brain CAN and WILL get your poor neurones dissolved painfully if you're over 7 years old. Begfore, it seems to have a stimulant effect on your intelligence; after... YUCK! >P
