There is a small knit community here, you see everyone on every board on Sorcerer's Place and not just in one particular message board area.

When BG2 comes out, I expect the place to begin to roll somewhat, but never as much as the official BG2 boards. I know for myself, all I want people to know is if they have a question, we can help answer it with good quality posts.

I remember a priest spell from my playing of AD&D (1st edition, I think) that makes a creature/character invisible for monsters with a lower intelligence than something (was it 8?). That one is definitly cast here.

Well, Sorcerer's Place is on 3rd place on the BG and Torment Top Ten list (there isn't one for IWD unfortunately), and for a site that isn't even directly dedicated to just one game, but the whole lot of them, that's a tremendous achievement I think. There are dozens of sites that focus on just one of all the games Sorcerer's Place does and they rank much lower.

So, thanks for coming back, thanks for spreading the word and thanks for your appreciation of my work. I couldn't have done it without that.
(btw., in case you were wondering, the top ten sites can be viewed by clicking on the appropriate vote button on the left side of all site pages, under the picture menu).

P.S.
The reason that Cyberjags it No.1 on the BG top ten lies solely in the fact that it's been on the list for more than 2 years (not updated in the last 1.5). I only added the vote buttons about 4 months ago. Calculate how high SP will be in two years. ;)

Cue: Bwa hahahahaha, the obligatory evil villans laugh, and the soon sorcerers plans for world domination will be complete speech. :D
Seriously though, this site is probably the best I've found for the games and with you trying to make it more generaly fantasy orientated, not to mention intelligent people on the forums, it rocks even more.

It's going to smack the BG2 Community like a brick wall. Wait until you see what we have in store for the dedicated ;)

I have to say this is the best message board I have seen. The way everything is organized is really nice. It is really easy to find the section and topics you want. The "date of last post" is nice if you're a regular, you can see right away if there has been anything new since your last visit.

Everyone here is pretty friendly and provides a lot of help and info. You don't seem to get the trolls and flamers you see on other boards. A lot of the boards I've been to seem to be visited primarily by juvenile delinquents who want to impress everyone with thier "l33t" skillz and the number of swear words they know.
