Why hasn't Elminster or one of Mystra's other chosen got a spell named after them. It doesn't make any sense that after however many hundred year that none of them have developed a spell and had it named after them. There is Melf, Tenser, Bigby Agannazar etc. but none of the legendary mages that we read about.

Elminster has spells named after him too, of course. Just none you've come by in the IE games. Most of his spells are 9th level.
Anyway, the other famous FR characters you've listed are also Gygax's (like Elminster) or of his friends or relatives, so...
