The song has that title. It's true.
It was originally performed by Harry Belafonte.
And that song has nothing to do with islamic Talibans nor terorism. It is about SLAVERY.

Taliban was one of words those slaves used to call the person who controlled their work. Black slaves.

Now in my country there were no black slaves. Never. And I'm 100% sure that there were no black slaves in Tal's country. Yeah, that part of shameful history I know.
Tal, please, leave this song to those who had slaves in their history.

Extremist, you got it a bit wrong. The original song is "Hey Mr. Tallyman", not Taliban.

I'm looking for the recent spoof which is all about Bin Laden and so on. I heard it when I was driving some time ago and it's funny to die for. Hmm, pun intended? Maybe? :p

And even the original song wasn't exactly of the elegiac sort so I don't assume anyone takes it seriously enough to be offended by a Taliban spoof.
