View Full Version : I'm Selling My PC! nior Fri, 26th Sep '03, 11:06am check this out: my PC (http://www.go-l.com/desktops/machl38/features/index.htm) Sir Belisarius Fri, 26th Sep '03, 12:27pm Very cool...But very pricey. Loerand Fri, 26th Sep '03, 4:47pm Wow, nice one... did you actually pay for that one? Wordplay Fri, 26th Sep '03, 6:28pm Ya, cool; but was it really worth it? To me it seems like money thrown to well, especially since most of the nowday's games/apps can't really fully utilize it and after 5-8 years there will be cheaper and better solution anyway. :hmm: 8people Fri, 26th Sep '03, 9:40pm ooo... :jawdrop: ... forget saving up for a computer! I'm off to raid a bank! Anyone coming? now... would it run all those games... iLLusioN' Fri, 26th Sep '03, 9:48pm im with ya 8people! seriously you WOULD have to raid a bank to get enough for that, well i would at least. my only quesion is what grade did you get? gamer, advanced, proffessional, premium or extreme...if you got extreme you are one rich mother****** Splunge Fri, 26th Sep '03, 10:20pm Pretty cool, but I agree with Virne. I never buy the latest processor, video card, etc. Instead, I buy 2-3 levels below the most current version when the price has come down substantially. Since I usually buy games 1-2 years after they come out, the lower horsepower isn’t really an issue. Morgoth Fri, 26th Sep '03, 10:25pm har har very funny, I was thinking of buying that yesterday ;) nior Mon, 29th Sep '03, 11:34am oh man! that "my PC" is a dream... i'm just dreaming. like morgoth said: har har very funny, I was thinking of buying that yesterday. BigStick Mon, 29th Sep '03, 2:19pm *drool* :jawdrop:  :rolling: :spin: I'd love to have one of those, but I'd settle for one of the monitors. That would be awesome even on my old PC. chevalier Mon, 29th Sep '03, 5:12pm Congrats. However, I agree that there will be a better and cheaper solution by the time software makes use of that awesome power. For those reasons I stick with my old Cel800/384MB RAM/60GB HDD/RIVA TNT2/SB Live. I would have to change practically everything, so I may as well buy a new computer. And then after two years it'll be average or below. And I don't play games like I used to. Just BG2, IWD2 and WC2 - only WC2 really, lately. Perhaps WC3 soon, with the addon, but it disappoints me gravely. nior Wed, 1st Oct '03, 5:58am @chevalier, you're not reading the post, man. i apologize to most of you for having misled you to believe that i actually bought that. i just posted it that way because i expected you to see that it is quite senseless to be wasting your hard earned money on something you can actually consider a "white elephant". if you only knew what it's equivalent price is in Philippine peso, you would know i'm just dreaming. again my apology. |
