Warhammer is a very nice setting... At times it's far better than d&d in that resort. Only the mechanics are royally screwed so that playing is a pain unless for a masochist, not that he would really mind.

There was a busker playing Schindler's List on a violin in the subway under South Kensington, and it sounded so mournful, and ethereal with all the echoes. Very sad. :(

We had a cool theater in our school last thursday. It was about a boy that's beaten by his father every day and his life in school. And it was all preformed by one guy. It's incredible how he could do a scene where he was beaten by a gang without making it look stupid (made me think of Fight Club).

I believe that my 600th post should appropriately go here, under Random babbling. All I can say is that for my next 600 posts, I hope there's a lot more of them in the Alley, debating all that serious stuff. I also should state my hope that I will eventually receive permission from my wife to purchase either Neverwinter Nights or Icewind Dale One or two -- that would allow me logical access to at least one more forum!

And i recently realized (once again!) that i'm obsessed with BG2 ToB and that its the best game there ever is.
I just played IWD2 the second time. I just quit playing the first time through. Dunno why :rolleyes:

And now i'm really disapointed becouse it doesnt get near BG2 feeling. The graphics of the character are worse even if it was released 2 years after BG2. And where i'm now i dont use much tactics as well, at least compared ti BG where using a good tactic gave you victory almost every time. Here you just smash in and slaughter everything.
And the feeling is knee-high compared to ToB.

I gave 2 of my characters ability of a slayer and attack me at once yet they failed without hurting me significantly(over 50%).

I tried dragon battles solo against him.
I summoned 10 red dragons one after another to duel with my werewolf and they all died. Stoneskin makes wonders ;)
I tried summoning 3 Firkraags at once and that gave me a little harder time :p But still i prevailed.
Note that that was in Pirate town (3 chapter) and i was level 14 or something.

Almost too powerful. But its nice to see true power at work :D

I used to work at Pizza Hut. It was great. I'd make "mistakes" with bacon and pineapple on them. I never had to deal with stupid people, I just made the pizzas, cut the pizzas, did the dishes, and cleaned the kitchen. Damn good job. Wish I could go back. Tough to feed a family on $6 / hour.

Yago, it's called style! Chevalier would never dream of dirtying his tongue with a common phrase like "getting laid." Some people have style in the other direction: they'd use a phrase like "got my cherry popped" or "got my end wet." Personally, I prefer the Chevalier style.
