I'm just very short and abrupt with them so they get this very uncomfortable feeling around me and then they start thinking I'm a B***H so they leave me alone.

Killing them is out of the question?
They won't let you stuff them under the stairs if they're alive!

A friend of mine had his mother and aunt over for visit when he was drinking. So, he and a friend started talking about breasts, and whaddya know, they left. Might work for you too...

You have got to be kidding me about "annoying" cousins. "annoying" is an understatement for my cousins. They will rip the house down just to bug me...I want to rip the up into shreds!!!!!! That's how annoying they are!!!! Geez...the only way to handle them is to kick them, punch them and let them sit and cry!!!

Actually, the best way to handle them is to love them and give them the attention they are craving. If they are like most kids, they need a man to show them some non-sexual affection.

They still won't leave you alone, but they will stop being so freaky.

My two cousins (still pretty young) are easy to dispose of. Their mother is totally against computers (even though her husband and her use them on a daily basis) and she only allows them like half an hour per day to play. Not a wise choice these days if you ask me, but OK...

So every time they come around, they just rush up the stairs to my room and don't leave the computer till it's a) time to eat or b) time to go home.
I can usually catch up on my reading while they're busy playing. ;)

Except the last time when I dug up Scorch from my archives (kinda like Worms, but much much older for all you newbies) and they actually had as much fun with it as I did when I was a kid. Pretty amazing since they're only used to the 3D games and visual candy produced these days. I think we played for two hours straight, heh.

But then again I can hardly consider them as annoying relatives. More annoying is their escort... But luckily I can use the excuse of having to show the kids how to use the computer or having a really urgent errand on the other side of town. The problem is, even if I'm gone for 5 hours they're usually still there when I get back. Uuuugh... :D

Hay Tal I loved Scorched Earth (I think this is the same program) If you still like to play it let me know as I know where a free 3D game simallar to it can be found.

Yea, that's the one. Thanks, but I have plenty of its clones as it is. ;)

Well, depending on the person there are several strategies to try:
1. Never phone or visit them yourself.
2. ALWAYS do the phoning and visiting - drive them mad, talk drivel for hours or insist on only talking about yourself.
3. Talk religion or politics. Chances are you will have a big row and they will never darken your doors again.
4. Get an animal they dislike/are allergic to and insist it goes crazy if you shut it out of the house...
5. Only contribute 'yes'/'no' to any conversation they try to hold with you.
7. If you know they are coming, get a friend they don't like to visit at the same time.
8. Wear really smelly socks and the sweatiest t-shirt you can find in the washing basket...

If you want any more... you know whare to ask, lol!

Well it depends how do they annoy you? And how old are they?

Try 12, 11, and 8. Goddamn goobers. Punching them doesn't work and a slight problem is the fact that they're from France... You'd think someone would eventually stop them from chanting "**** You" all day long... and the fags try smacking my ass in which case i punch them in which case they laugh and try again.

I don't have problems with my family...... when you got problems with them, when they are anooying, then you do something wrong.... (they also but you can't blame them for that) :)

12, 11 and 8, hey? Hm. And how old are you? And how much longer are they staying? And is their English good or bad? And how is your French? Do you have brothers and sisters, older/younger? How do they get on with the cousins? How do your mom & dad react to your cousins? How do they react to the way YOU react to your cousins?

Just for starters, though:
Talk to your mom and dad about it. If they are ok people, they may have some helpful suggestions. Make sure you don't yell, or act unreasonably though, or they will think the problem is all your fault!

Hehe that don't work for my parents are also annoying :D

Any advice how to deal with them (and don't say: talk with your cousins, they might have some useful tricks) ;)

Well, Headbanger, my advice won't seem very much to your taste, I guess, but when you have problems with your parents, have you ever stopped to ask yourself 'WHY'?
Most times I imagine it is 'cos you and they have different opinions about things. OK.
So, you ASK them why they have the opinion they do, then ask if you can tell them how YOU see it. (Yeah, I said ASK if you can express your opinion! DEMANDING to express your opinion just makes 'em act ornery). But you have to be calm, not aggressive or sulky. Most parents will then listen to you. So, you may STILL not agree, but at least you have listened to each other, and learned something about each other.
And who knows - YOU may find they are right, or THEY may find you are right! Always woth trying before throwing the wobbly!

That would work too...lmao!

Gotta say, Tyresian speak french with english pronounciation...merci(english version) buckets=merci beaucoup(real french)...silvus plate=s'il vous plait...bon jour(english pronounciation)=bonjour. That drives france ppl up the wall and out of the house!

Congratulations, Headbanger! You got the first five letters of my name in the correct order!
But - not wishing to be picky here - did I ever mention I don't like my name abbreviated? If you find it too long to write in full, I will accept 'F', but nothing else, please! :)
