I can sing okay when i've got something to sing against, either if i'm playing guitar, or have a cd on. If i just try to sing to nothing, i'm all over ther place. I haven't got too bad a range either.

No, my voice is crap and it's always the wrong pitch in the wrong key. :mad:

But I wish I could sing, Karaoke bars would just be a lot more fun. :mommy:

Sometimes I sing under the shower, but only if I'm certain that no one get's hurt.

Well ... i'm in a band as the main vocalist (also lead/rythem guitar) so i guess, my mates think i can sing ... i don't like admitting it but i think i can sing okay :o

I am a great singer, although....everybody else seems to think I'm not :rolleyes:

I can sing, but not very good. Everybody can sing actually (although some people better than others).

I sing when i'm listening Dream Theater/Pain of Salvation/Dave Matthews Band etc...

Imagine a nail going through a mouse pumped with sugar, multiply that by 5 and you got my singing talent.

I was a 2nd bass in my concert choir in college. Don't do it anymore, but used to.

Everyone can sing but everyone's voice is suited to different keys. Once thats found, people can then start working around that key and actually amplify themselves ... i don't make sense do i? :p Ah well, i think my main singing key is either B or E

I have a rather big range, can imitate voices, animals and the whole doodiddly

But I can't sing at all.

I think I might be able to sing alright if I tried but I'm not really into it, and there are other things I would rather do.

I used to be able to sing, but really messed up sinuses destroyed my voice. :cry: I get what Sniper was saying, too, because that's how my range used to be - I was good high and low but weak in between.

I can sing a bit, and If i tried I might be able to sing even more :D

We have musical talent n the family, my dad has an incredible voice... but me, I can sing well only if there's something accompanying me.

Yeah, i can reach some pretty damn high notes (James LaBrie from Dream Theater style), but they aren't truely in my range coz i can't make them very loud at all. Haven't worked out my best key though, too much hassle.

Yes. I can and I sing sometimes. Sometimes I record mp3s though I don't really share them with anyone. Mostly carrols when Christmas is coming last times.

I love Kurt Cobain's sound, mostly because i have listened "Where did you sleep last night?" a billion times.

I like to sing, but my voice isn't the best there is. There's probably fish that sing better than me.

I can, and pretty good as well. I've had lessons when I was young, and I also sung in a choir. I'll pick it up again later in my life, but for now I'll keep it to myself for in the bathroom ;)

Well, I sing well enough to have gotten Superior scores all through high school competitions. I am, however, horribly prone to stage fright, so very few people know I can anymore.
I'm a lyric colatura soprano. (think glass shattering notes)

I can sing like nobody's business! When I was young, I got all the leads in school productions. I never really develped it, though, so now I only sing in public when my wife drags me off to sing in the church choir (which is a truly heinous experience, let me tell you!) I also perform in the shower or with my 1 year old daughter -- she likes it when I sing, it calms her down when my wife isn't there. Recently, all three of my daughters and I have been singing songs like "the Ants go Marching", "You can't Get to Heaven", and "The Bear Song". These are all long songs (the Heaven one is a campfire song that can have near infinite verses if you are creative enough). It keeps the two older girls from killing each other on long car trips ;)

Just because i can sing, doesnt mean i have to.

I dont really enjoy it, but if its a good song by Chilis, or something thats old and by Frank Sinatra or some other Swing record. Who knows!

I almost never sing because I say that I can't and it would destroy my reputation too...

I sing alright, but my voice is way too low for any good female parts (Cranberries, Soraya, etc.), and slightly too high for most male parts. I can sing/play "Talk Tonight like no one's business, though. :D

So I read I'm the almost the only one that can't sing???

Um ... if i'm somehow able to get a mp3 of myband going here, hopefully you can all hear my voice and decide if im a singer or not ...

i can sing. But i don't think people will accpet my singing. Art is a very subjective matter.
