Ok, I don't want this to be a thread for the meaningless discussion of what dream mean, I just want to tell you about a really cool dream I had last night. I also want to know you opinion on a few things in the poll.

Ok, Last night I had a dream that I had the wings of a dragon, and had the ability to cast magic. In the dream, I was walking down the street, and when I stretched my arms and back, I realized that I had wings on my back. The next thing I can remember is that I was walking in a crowded area. A guy starts shooting people. He looks at me, and I let out a roar like a tiger or something. I leap high in to the air to avoid his gunfire, and I throw a fireball at him. After he's dead, I land, and everyone is shocked to see the wings attached to my back; and my hand, which was burning with magical fire. I realize that everyone was looking at me; so I start showing off...that's when my alarm woke me up. I would have given anything to be able to continue that dream with out interruption.

Anyway, I've been thinking a lot about that dream today, and I think it would kick a$$ if I had the wings of a dragon; and the ability to cast magic. My girlfriend says I wouldn't of had that dream if I didn't spend all my time playing/editing IE games...I think she's just jealous.

Now to the poll: I want to know your thoughts on flying, and casting magic...if it was possible. :rolling:

He-loo, remember where your posting this. Of course we want freaky wings and want to throw around magic! We are the people of SP, not some stupid boring people from RDINN!

I'd take the wings and magic, depending on the price I would have to pay. If it meant becoming a labrat for mankind, thank you very much, but I'd pass. 'Cause that would happen, if you're the only human with wings and magic. If it meant I could help out people and look badass with wings and throwing magic around, I'd be cool with it :)

Of course I would use it for good, but also for personal use. Why take a cab when I can fly? :D

Well, I don't know... I was all set to vote for YES!!! for both... until I read the no matter the cost part.

If a guy with horns and a pointy tail offered you magic for your soul, would you sign his contract?

I see that I am the only one who will use magic for my own purposes, and nothing else. Why is that? :p

All right, it'd be nice if we could fly as dragons do, and lob fireballs, and learn about the future, make the opposite gender fall in love with us, or whatnot, but come on, that's not going to happen. So quit fantasizing about it and get to the real world. Keep that stuff in your dreams, but never lose your imagination. Imagine things, but don't spend all day daydreaming about flying and casting spells. And consider the long-term consequences as well if you could fly/had magic powers. I wouldn't want to be the only one in the world with magic powers; think of all the publicity I'd get. *shudder*

You're just jealous that "I" have the cool dreams and "you" don't. If it helps, I used to dream that clowns were chasing me... :rolling:

What about using them for evil. I'm not saying i would use them for evil but it would always be nice to fry those misserable SOB's, or to drop them from a great height, or, drop them from a great height and then play with magic on them, to really screw them up.

You people! Let us let our crazy daydreams out in a thread about them. We caurrently aren't losing our imaginations but exercising them in interesting and stupid ways. :)

I'd go for magic and conjure a nice pair of wings.
I don't like the wings, though, and certainly not for permanent.

I would go with magic, since i think that wouldn't be so obvious, but wings would be hard to hide. And with good use of magic i could cast levitate or something ;)

I would use it mostly for my personal benefit, since i doubt that someone else would do something for me if i wouldn't pay him! Of course, for the greater good I would occasionally do some good deed, maybe something so i can sell movie rights to Hollywood (but they would probably steal it)

You could just use your wing buffet attack on anyone that pokes or prods you.

I agree with C'Jakob. It's fun to joke about this sort of thing, just don't go overboard with your fantasies.
