Apeman Sun, 30th Mar '03, 12:32pm Tea!
If I would be drinking the same amount of coffee then I drink tea I wouldn't get ANY sleep ;)
Shura Sun, 30th Mar '03, 12:54pm The manual that comes with my body states thus:
Warning: Failure to input coffee at the start of each day will result in the complete failure of all cerebral functions.
So it's coffee, I guess. :(
Faragon Sun, 30th Mar '03, 1:20pm I don't like coffee. And the fact that it's addictive does it little good as well.
Tea all the way. Add 2 lumps of sugar while you're at it.
chevalier Sun, 30th Mar '03, 1:37pm Caffeam nostram cotidianam da nobis hodie
Give us this day our daily coffee
Sephiroth Sun, 30th Mar '03, 2:25pm Tea.Strong black tea with two lumps of sugar and the day can come! :)
Ex-Paladine Sun, 30th Mar '03, 3:03pm Tea
enjan Sun, 30th Mar '03, 6:16pm Some black tea spiked with a little Whiskey is just the ticket. ;)
Sir Belisarius Sun, 30th Mar '03, 6:20pm Tea, preferably Assam. I also like Earl Grey.
Rallymama Sun, 30th Mar '03, 8:12pm I like both equally. What I choose to drink depends on many things.
Frostmage Sun, 30th Mar '03, 8:14pm Neither. I hate every drink that is served hot. Everything I drink must be very cold.
Ironbeard Sun, 30th Mar '03, 9:48pm Coffee first thing in the morning, tea at all other times, unless I'm feeling tired or want to go for a cold drink instead of either.
Mystra's Chosen Mon, 31st Mar '03, 12:10am I'm Scandanavian, so coffee is the way. If I was caught drinkin' tea I'd probably get a noogie from my bro :p
I need to have coffe in the morning. It's unexplainable the effect it has on you. When you take that first sip, all the crap left over from last night washes away and you feel instantly refreshed. It's a really cool feeling.
Master of Nuhn Mon, 31st Mar '03, 12:51am Except for ice-tea, I don't drink tea very often. So that's coffee for me. Strong and black. Preferably ristretto, 2 or 3 times stronger than espresso.
SoCo Mon, 31st Mar '03, 1:30am Coffee, humm starbucks...
Charlie Mon, 31st Mar '03, 7:48am Neither. I only drink coffee when I want to stay up. I like iced tea but not regular (hot) tea.
Mystra's Chosen Mon, 31st Mar '03, 8:20am In Canada they've got this crap-tastic iced tea (the sugary kind) and I got used to real iced tea (my mom is from Cali and always used to make sun tea). Coffee, for some reason, doesn't keep me up but wakes me up. Wierd...
Shell Mon, 31st Mar '03, 10:28am Being a Yorkshire woman, I am bound to say Tea :) (And it's true :) )
chevalier Mon, 31st Mar '03, 1:30pm Actually I believe that tea is tied with the language. The longer (and more) you have been using English, the more tea you drink. It's either a sombre capitalistic machination of English teachers and tea manufacturers or some imperialistic plot to resurrect the dead Empire.
Ragusa Mon, 31st Mar '03, 1:43pm Silly test, it neglects the most interesting reply: "Both!" Coffee in the morning (serving as a booster), tea later in the day, and coffee-chocolate as a turbo when concentration and good mood are needed.
Arabwel Mon, 31st Mar '03, 7:00pm Tea!
I like most kinds of tea, but I especially like Kenyan tea, when it's done with milk in a special way and drank with LOADS of sugar :D (And yes, me + caffeine + sugar = BOUNCY :p )
(*BOUNCE*)
Shell Mon, 31st Mar '03, 7:27pm Bouncy, eh ? ;)
Mathetais Mon, 31st Mar '03, 9:37pm Two revelations in one thread ...
1) Bel drinks tea (never would have guessed that)
2) Shura can be funny! ;)
Me, I drink coffee.
I used to be a total addict ... 4-6 cups/day.
I'm trying to cut back ... but so far its been tough.
Anyone got a Caffine Patch?
Tarol'azh, a.k.a.Tobias Tue, 1st Apr '03, 12:58am I couldn't vote because you didn't have a 'torn between both' option.
Tea - raspberry tea, lemon tea, raspberry-lemon tea, you get the idea.
Coffee - lattes, espressos, and highly-sugared, heavily-creamed normal coffee.
Ex-Paladine Fri, 4th Apr '03, 2:24pm Of course tea. I don't like coffee much :nolike:
Mesmero Fri, 4th Apr '03, 2:27pm Coffee! The only way to start the morning.
Tea is sometimes nice to drink, but only in the afternoon on a cold winters day.
Ex-Paladine Fri, 4th Apr '03, 2:29pm Coffee is a good thing to start a day but for me tea is a good thing to drink all the time
dmc Sat, 5th Apr '03, 3:02am Coffee, coffee, must have coffee. Tea is only relegated to times of intense illness.
Ex-Paladine Sat, 5th Apr '03, 4:23pm Coffee, coffee, must have coffee. Tea is only relegated to times of intense illness. Tea, tea must have tea. Coffee is only relegated to times of intense illness.
MrGrouch Sat, 5th Apr '03, 6:21pm Neither. But I do need caffiene in the morning, so I usually have a soda. Used to be Pepsi, but with the diet it is Pepsi One or Diet Mountain Dew.
And like Frostmage, I hate hot drinks. I want everything cold...ice cold.
Cross Sun, 6th Apr '03, 2:45am I'm a tea man myself; usually 2-3 cups (read: mugs) every day. However, when I was in the army, I got used to drinking coffee as well, so now it's one or two cups of that as well, most days. All this caffeine can't be good for me...
Shell Sun, 6th Apr '03, 10:13am I used to love Mountain Dew....we don't get it over here any more for some reason. :(
Eilonwy Mon, 7th Apr '03, 9:58pm Tea of course!
I drink coffe too, but only to wake myself up when I am tired or to get some more energy.
I hate tea with flavours...
Harkle Mon, 7th Apr '03, 10:27pm Coffee, although I drink hot drinks rarely. When I drink, I drink coffee, because it keeps me awake. Sometimes it works too fine - I can barely sleep in the whole night.
Compulsive Dementia Tue, 8th Apr '03, 2:37am I never really tried either, although I like certain teas with honey when I'm sick.
Hugo Tue, 8th Apr '03, 9:52am Tea all the way: I can drink over a litre and still be thirsting for more especially with lots of sweetener (sugar raises weight when used in applied amounts
I also like those herbed tea's a lot
*must post MORE*
JSBB Tue, 8th Apr '03, 1:45pm I never drink coffee. I only drink tea on the odd occasion but when I do I like Earl Grey with a dollop of scotch.
Intentioner of the Damned Mon, 14th Apr '03, 12:32pm Good job i didnt post before, as my opinion would have changed. I'm definitely a tea person, but i tried some REAL coffee last week that swayed my choice.
I've tried that freeze-dried granulated coffee before and it's disgusting. But this proper coffee, strong, with extra milk and 2 sugars was soooo nice. Mmmmmmmmm.
But, my vote goes to tea, none-the-less.
