Check this out it is fantastic i still try to figure out how they do this!!!!!!!!!!!

It worked every time i tried it. I even did not think a number and the outcome was zero (multiple times) :cool:

It is because the symbol used is repeated on multiples of 9. It will always come up with it :)

Yep, notice how the same symbol is on every number you can get...

And remember: if you choose 55 and remove 5+5=10 ->45, and if you choose 56, you still get 45, and if you choose 57... so you can get numbers: 0, 9, 18, 27, 36, 45 ... As Alavin said, multiples of 9 ;)

Here's the math on why this works: A two digit number "xy" is equal to 10*x + y. When you subtract the sum of the digits, you are subtracting x + y from 10*x + y, which leaves you with 9*x. Thus, the result is always a multiple of 9. As stated above, all of the multiples of 9 have the same symbol.
