Ice Hockey or Baseball...Football is third, basketball is a distant 4th! I like college basketball better than the pros!

with the possible exception of rugby, no sports whatsoever! I have never understood what exactly the fun is of chasing a moving object with appr 25 men. I mean dogs do it but men is superior isn't he? ;) :p

Very true though, we need clarification. Does the question refer to 49 padded girls with helmets or is it the beautiful game of 11 men against 11 with a round ball and goals 10ft high rather than 100?

I don't like either actually. I always watch Formula 1, I don't miss a race. Other sports I watch are: Nascar, IRL, ChampCars, Sumo Wrestling, Darts, and the X-games. (And maybe one or two others which I forgot to mention.)

Football is what I classify as boring. Though it is my opinion and I know no-one really agrees with me, but then again I was never one to agree with the crowds ;)

My favourite sports are Hockey, Rugby and boxing.

I used to be pretty good at hockey before I had to quit, my two of my half-brothers are rugby players and my Grandad King used to be a boxer. If you are saying rugby is for girls please clarify why.

Soccer, football, American football, Rugby?
For me (American) Football and rugby would be the same. Soccer would be the non-northern-American game.
If football is rugby, I choose basketball. If football is soccer, I choose football.
No cricket/baseball-thingy for me.

I like watching icehockey, though I find it fun to play with swords and bows, and do some martial arts. I also like playing soccer, mostly mini-soccer (small goals, small hall, no rules) and other games.

Hockey!! Watching that is, can't play it too well. Best sport for me to play are racket sports like tennis, table tennis, badminton.

IMHO, basketball is like watching two teams trade baskets. It seems like the only defense in the game is to foul the guy, but even that doesn't work in the long run.

Football beats Basketball IMHO in terms of more fun to watch and play.

But Soccer beats them both.

But Whiffleball rules supreme. :p

watching: any sports will do as long as the players are toddlers or pre-teens, doesn't matter who wins or loose, everyone enjoys it. :)

playing : basketball, billiards, darts, and badmintoon.

Football, American style, as opposed to the Canuck way ( 3 downs, 110 yard field ) and as opposed to the Aussie way ( no using you're head as a battering ram :nolike: ).

And for those of you who consider the NFL "wimpy" ( Viking, Z-Layrex ) because the players wear equipment, let me just recommend a video called "Crash Course". Ouch.

I think what is wimpy about NFL stylie is that the ballcarrier gets tackled and everyone stops, goes back to the middle and everyone lines up again. Oh yeah, and they wear protection too. ;)

What is that all about? Try Rugby Union for a man's sport. None of this everyone stop and go back to the middle crap there. You're down you have to release the ball. Someone else picks it up. The game flows. Now there's a phrase you wouldn't hear at an American Football game.

Or Aussie No Rules! Now THAT is a game where men are men! Talk about hard hitting stuff.
