I think everyone here has done some gaming or we would have an interested in CRPG. I think that the true love of RP comes from table top and CRPGs are just an offshoot of that enjoyment. If I had a chose I'd play table top over CRPGs everytime. The human factor makes all the difference. But to the question at hand I've been playing RPGs for over fifteen years. Over the years I've tried almost every table top and LARP I can think of. Today I still play AD&D, GURPS, ShadowRun, Earth Dawn, and a few others on a regular basis.

Not me. I have never played a single table-top RPG in my life. Of course, my brother did, and i have read the books, but i have never played it, and nor do i really want to. I just like CRPGs. In fact, I was originally introduced to Baldur's Gate through a friend, who had never heard of AD&D.

My brother, who introduced me to RPGs in 1992, with a game called Ultima 1, hadn't ever played TTRPGs either.

I love the classic D&D games! My best friend, who is two years older than me got me into into it when I was 7, and that led to CRPGs and all the time I spend now on them. If he hadn't gone off to college I might still be playing TTRPG.
