View Full Version : Random Babbling Post #18 fade Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 6:28am RAWR! Time to study for calc! Also have some physics to do, yay? Aikanaro Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 10:09am Well well well, what to babble about. I'm finding this music quite good for typing to, if not for typing accurately. Baezlebub Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 10:39am Yeah, music is great. I'm listening to The Witches Promise by Jethro Tull. Anyway, I think it't time I visited the Whitlams website to listen to some music. Good idea Aik! Aikanaro Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 10:45am Fifty more posts and a loveally shiny new gem, an almost clear run from there, no other gem tottin' maniacs stand in my way to the rogue stone. Baezlebub Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 10:52am Oh yeah Aik? Well I've got another 108 to get 1000 posts. But no new gem for me! Harbourboy Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 11:07am Isn't it interesting how the people on-line change throughout the day? The Australians and New Zealanders seem to be on at the moment but will soon be off to sleep and the British are now up and about and joining in. In a few hours the Americans will be back and the Boards will be swamped again. Though some of you probably keep odd unsocial hours that shatter this theory anyway. Aikanaro Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 11:16am The Aussies and Kiwis are on in force earlier as well, adding Rotku to our number then too :D Baezlebub Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 11:18am Yes, well. In Australia, it is 8-9pm, depending on daylight savings, in New Zealand, its is 11pm. Think about the time zones, and the premium times when people log on. Harbourboy Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 11:28am Good night to all the Kiwis in Aotearoa! You East Coast Aussies must be missing prime time TV if you're playing about on your computers. Aikanaro Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 11:49am What is this prime time TV you speak of? I have never known TV to have anything worth watching on it. Harbourboy Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 11:55am No idea what is on in Australia. Probably the same as the rest of the world, but with "Home and Away" and "Neighbours" chucked in. Just assumed that it was standard practice for most people to watch TV from about 6-10 in the evening. Although, I agree that almost none of it is worth watching. Baezlebub Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 12:19pm HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! NO Australian watches Neighbours. We keep making that to keep the british in line. Harbourboy Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 12:23pm Then how come you keep turning the "Neighbours" actors into pop stars? SOMEONE in Australia is buying their records...... Anyway, the Brits had their revenge by making you have your own "Pop Idol" and then forcing your Australian Idol to turn up on that ridiculous World Idol and get thrashed by some hobbit sized Norwegian bloke. Aikanaro Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 12:28pm Thank you for informing me of this terrible outbreak of actors turning into pop stars, of which I haven't heard of in either of their occupations ... whoever they are. And I don't think I ever actually watched Australian Idol, or knew of its existance until some months after it started... chevalier Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 2:33pm Coffee. Strong. Black. Lots of foam. And work to do. Another long piece of coding, my tortoise's terrarium to clean, some medical papers to seek and find (the worst part), and it's highly probable my dancing classes still are tonight despite the holidays. Awww... Ofelix Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 3:09pm You know what my life is a whole bag of bull****, I wished I could ended it right here... It's seem everything I do is destined to fail, and on top of that I must choose between two of my favourite hobbies, First: Doing stuff with my School friend, playing D&D going to the movies, throwing a Party, Drinking a litle beer there and there OR: My Scout, doing all sort of crazy thing like doing Winter camping, going in England to celebrate a BIG International Scout festival. But the worst is that I have real good friend in both thing and I love both! but my Scout require a hell lot of attention so sometimes, I don't see my other friend for a lot of time. And It seem I can't do both because it would require much more will than I have, so it's one or the other  I ******* HATE MY LIFE... fade Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 3:27pm I actually prefer the option of sitting in my room and mopeing all day. On something around the same note, I am a loser. I am posting on the boards before I go to class. Then more likely then not, I will be posting on them when I get back from at in 3 hours or so. Then even more likely I will continue to forums ***** and at least read every new topic and post untill around 5 or so. That is unless I decide to take a nap(which would be a good idea considering I feel like poo-poo) On something on the same note as that last statement being sick kinda stinks, specially when you have to get up and walk in the cold. It is even worse when you run the room out of tissues, so I have to keep sniffing, making time go by really slowely. It is a proven fact that the more you sniffle, the slower time goes by. Ah well, Cheers all! :coffee: Aikanaro Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 3:37pm On a totally unrelated note: I hate earwigs. I'm going to fortify the computer with surface spray tomorrow. This week has really been hell: I've slept only 4-5 hours in a night. Too much work for too tired. :( Ofelix, so time is your probem? Couldn't you reduce the time you use in both hobbies, and keep doing both? That's really hard decision, but try to do what feels right and what you want. Ofelix Fri, 23rd Jan '04, 3:50pm Maybe, maybe but as I have said my Scout require a hell lot of times, but I might consider your advise. Rotku Sat, 24th Jan '04, 12:08am He's dead? We're dead! I don't have other mean of sending her the message because I've lost her phone number nor do I know her zip code... DAMNIT! Why must I have waited this long for sending her this message?! WHY? it's very important...to me ar least... I ****ING HATE MY LIFE! but why Have I post it here? surely you don't care about it gee it's seem I am becoming crazy... Sorry 'bout my rambling I won't bother you anymore, I even think I need to stop posting here it's driving me crazy and I don't get the fealing somebody is listening to my rambling. It was my brother phoning me. He has been trying to get my phone number for over a year and only just found it. I haven't seen him in years and he says he is going to come down soon to see me! Can someone tell me what I missed? If you're wondering why is it so... unattractive here is the answer: Q: Oh wait I have another question. What's all this talk about 3d-mode? How do I unlock it? All I see are bars going across the screen, just like that dude grumbig said. A: That dude grumbig as you said is grumdrig. He created Progress Quest. See, the 3d-mode is actually a hidden feature which you can only unlock if you buy the Platinum DVD version. What you can download online is usually the shareware version. You should order the Platinum DVD version online: shipping is free, and you get a free instruction booklet with an appendix that has nude pictures of grumdrig and jeffy! Some of you that visit #Sorcerers when I am in the hungry mood might know of my exploits in the kitchen, and how insanely cool they happen to be. Well, last night, I created a masterpiece. Rice: Use the correct ratio of water:rice to make it the normal way. But, before you start to boil the water, add the following ingredients. Cloves Nutmeg Cinnamon Quill Bay Leaves Cardamoms Leave to cook. Mince: Then, get out some beef mince. It doesn't have to be of great quality, but it does make a difference. You will also need some peas and olive oil. Then, grab the following ingredients and place them on the bench. Minced Chilli (can use fresh chillis if you wish, would probably effect the taste) Minced Ginger Curry Powder Paprkia Cajun Spice mix Black pepper (crushed) Black Mustard seeds (crushed) Mix the above mentioned spices in a bowl and be prepared to add them to the mince. Next, grab a deep pan and put some olive oil in the bottom. I like to use a late harvest olive oil. More subtle flavour in both salad dressings and pan cooking. Anyway, heat the pan up with the oil and add the premium beef mince. Cook until brown and then slowly add the spices, making sure that they mix evenly over the mince. Don't add it at once unless you want a huge clump of flavour in the mince. At this stage, you could probably add some Taco Seasoning if you want that sort of mexican flavour. When it is thouroughly mixed through, add a small amount of water and add some peas. As soon as the peas are warmed through (they will condense slightly), take off the heat. If you have timed well, the rice should be ready by now. Add the rice to the mince and stir through. And Voila! You have a nice tasting meal ready for consumption. Won't take longer than 20 minutes, as you will need to cook the rice. The mince will take 10 minutes tops. /end episode of Consuming Passions. What is it? Splunge Wed, 28th Jan '04, 11:41pm These are terms used in the exciting world of accountancy! Yes, you too can use your magical crystal ball to anticipate future financial results (forecasting) or determine the real cost of producing goods and services (job/process costing). These and other fascinating abilities can be yours if you have the extraordinary skill it takes to become an accountant. :D Sarevok• Thu, 29th Jan '04, 12:08am It is snowing in England! Iago Thu, 29th Jan '04, 1:07am Man, it's so ****ed up to be French and the international pariah. Aldazar Thu, 29th Jan '04, 2:45am @Sarevok-, how's about sending some snow over this way? You English get too much of the cooler weather. Ahrontil Thu, 29th Jan '04, 2:48am There's a glitch in the Matrix, the thread 42, the one that started it all is back in Whatnots and noone posted to it. I'm not mad. Really! Malovae Thu, 29th Jan '04, 3:11am The snow is getting on my nerves now. Damn snow dust stuff!! Hey your right!!? What the hell is that doing there - is Tal doing his time travelling thread thingy again  Rotku Thu, 29th Jan '04, 3:56am Shoot the weather is hot at the moment!! Must be nearing 30 degrees C, with out any wind either!! *screams* What I woudl give for snow! Oh, and there is a reason for that 42 thread, but I don't know if I'm allowed to mention it or not... *looks at Tal* Splunge Thu, 29th Jan '04, 4:29am Someone named catbert resurrected the 42 thread. Tal (or maybe Beren) deleted catbert's post and closed the topic. Dice Thu, 29th Jan '04, 4:48am Rotku! That is just wrong! Day three here of snow and 30c in the other direction. Believe me, you don't need snow. Be happy with your +30 and quit complaining! Rotku Thu, 29th Jan '04, 6:03am -30 degrees is worse I guess, but something like 20 with a nice gentle wind would be nice. And maybe less humid. Oh well, it's predicted to rain tomorrow, that'll get the wind, but the temperature is remaining the same  Rotku needs a holiday. Baezlebub Thu, 29th Jan '04, 7:29am It was hot today with a top of 32 Degrees. It was a cloudless day until the storm that hit at 3 30. The weather has been like this all week for South East Queensland, and some of the damage that it has caused has been horrific. Anyway, since the storm has been building up all day, it was damn humid. Again. Which means I am all set to complain about it to anyone. Damn you people, you could at least have the decency to reply to my cooking post. Harbourboy Thu, 29th Jan '04, 8:18am It's completely freezing in London today. But it's not the piddling 1 inch of snow that's infuriating, it's how the whole transport system grinds to a halt when the weather becomes the slightest bit 'extreme'. If there's any snow, rain, sun, even dead leaves in the autumn, all the trains stop. I'm sure plenty of other countries have weather infinitely more extreme than England but don't suffer the same ridiculous chaos they do here. Rotku Thu, 29th Jan '04, 8:30am Rotku just came back from an indian resturant, which was run by a german, who use to run an American resturant in germany. So confusing all these countries  Faragon Thu, 29th Jan '04, 9:31am Ugh, of all the days to oversleep, I got today. The only day in the week that I actually have to get up and do something. I've not overslept in years! I was supposed to go to Utrecht with two fellow students to observe drugaddicts in an addictioncenter, but I woke up two minutes before the bus that was supposed to get me to Utrecht left. And I need at least 20 minutes to get to the busstop. *sigh* Needless to say, I didn't make that. I called up one of my fellow students to say I wasn't going to make it. I'd arrive an hour late at the earliest. Seeing how the center isn't getting anything out of our being there, I thought it'd be rude to show up an hour late. Wether it's three or two of us there doesn't matter. However, that's not how my fellow students see it. They decided to be *****y about it, saying "we'll talk about this later." Bah. Now I've got the entire day, and I have no plans. I'm bored out of my skull. Rotku Thu, 29th Jan '04, 9:45am Heard of an alarm? I'm going to bed now, good night everyone! But, unlike some poeple, I plan on setting an alarm to wake me up before school. Faragon Thu, 29th Jan '04, 10:24am Yeah, I set the alarmclock and all, I just forgot to flip the switch on so that it'd actually start beeping at the time I set. Thanks for reminding me about that from way up there. Want me to help you get down from that horse? It seems mighty high. joacqin Thu, 29th Jan '04, 11:00am Harbourboy, I think it is a universal thing that trains panick at the very sign of any weather whatsoever. What the trains really want is to just sit and chill and their cozy stalls and never have to go out in places where this thing called weather and passengers might be. They hate us, they hate us all, so they do their best to make our lives miserable. Arabwel Thu, 29th Jan '04, 11:38am Backies... Gort no broccoli in my head, which is good. Then again, i get more tests done in a few months or so for my stupid arm... they might stick botox into it and so i'll have a wrikkle-free, unshakeable and semi-unuseable arm sometime in the future. As it is, I am going to Estonia next week... to see my best friend in the whole wide world. or world wide web, take your pick. *sigh* I hate life. Aikanaro Thu, 29th Jan '04, 12:19pm Well, it seems like another über storm attacked somewhere. I'll be amazed if Beagle still has power, and if he still does by the end of next week, seeing that we're meant to have storms pretty much from now onwards. 8people Thu, 29th Jan '04, 1:48pm We have snow! Lots of it! We had a thunder and lightning storm with the blizzard though, IIRC it is a sign of the apocalypse! The world as we know it is over! And I have no internet, it sucks so much. We have broadband! But we need a patch to make it run on our computer! Which I must download from the internet... DUH! Arabwel Thu, 29th Jan '04, 2:40pm My head huyrts like hell... but that's what you get from staring the computer screen for several hoours after crying your head off. *sigh* Life sucks. Faragon Thu, 29th Jan '04, 4:07pm Arabwel, seriously, could you knock it off with the "life sucks" comments? The angst is basically dripping of of my screen. Life doesn't treat you any less than others, so you're no different than the rest of the world. Except for the fact that the world doesn't seem to make such a big deal out of it. Harbourboy Thu, 29th Jan '04, 4:13pm Life rules. And Beezlebub - what do you call your rice and mince creation? Loerand Thu, 29th Jan '04, 4:44pm A new era of spamming has begun(not as great as chev's though ;) ) Why? I got broadband today, and life is just rocking too much :D Malovae Thu, 29th Jan '04, 5:53pm All hail broadband :alien: And life does rock! Not that i have much to be happy about. Sarevok• Thu, 29th Jan '04, 6:37pm  bband is good, never get any crap with it like cable ;d Taza Thu, 29th Jan '04, 6:41pm Broadband shall rule all. :D Broadband = rocks. My life = sucks... Ah well, i have a broadband so i can ignore the life. :p Loerand Thu, 29th Jan '04, 6:52pm Just downloaded quite a few songs. Compared with ISDN, this is heaven! But we people on SP must not forget our "real" lives AFK, that's quite important... Malovae Fri, 30th Jan '04, 1:52am Urghhh, why am I still up??!!?? Oh... Married with Children is on TV - bye Aldazar Fri, 30th Jan '04, 2:16am Man, Married...With CHildren rocked when I first saw it! Not as much a fan now because I've seen pretty much all of them. I think our TV execs need new thoughts, we're getting an Aussie version of Queer Eye For The STraight Guy AND What Not To Wear. Malovae Fri, 30th Jan '04, 3:51am Well I went from that to a Manga movie about giant robots called 'labours' - and I'm still up. Think i'll call it a night. Your right about needing new ideas but there are some good new series coming out - I like John Doe and that Varitas: The Quest looks like it could be good... any comments on it? Who thinks spoof movies suck? Saw that Scary movie 3 and it was dog turd. The oldies are still good though - Airplane and the National Lampoons movies, things like that. Anyway, goodnight to anybody reading :) Dice Fri, 30th Jan '04, 3:58am I'd say goodnight but it's still early for me. Just got home from work. The temperature got all the way up to -24 today! I thought it was summer. I could use a hot bath. chevalier Fri, 30th Jan '04, 4:37am Need my four hours of beauty sleep, don't I? Rotku Fri, 30th Jan '04, 6:41am So tired  Oh well, atleast it's the week end! Arabwel Fri, 30th Jan '04, 7:41am Hey, life DOES suck, at least in my case. Blows, too... I wish I could sleep for four hours, would do me a world of good... Rotku Fri, 30th Jan '04, 8:34am Heh, I need atleast 8 hours sleep or I can't think at all the next day. I don't know how you people can have any less sleep? Taza Fri, 30th Jan '04, 9:48am I can stay up almost as long as i want... Then again i want to sleep for at least 9 hours a day. :p I've once slept for 17 hours... Xei Win Toh Fri, 30th Jan '04, 1:54pm TGIF! I'm going to win that big-jump competetion :) Malovae Fri, 30th Jan '04, 4:46pm We should all know better than to click on obscure and meaningless links  :edit: I get post 400 :p  And the snows melting :D Loerand Fri, 30th Jan '04, 5:09pm What does it do ? I don't know exactly, but I guess it's one of those "things" that pop up, and when you close it, another two pops up. And then it goes on and on(almost forever IMO)..... Darhken Rahl Fri, 30th Jan '04, 9:37pm I like Emu Rotku Fri, 30th Jan '04, 9:40pm The week end at last! I've only had two days back at school, but it feels like ages :( Oh well, a long weekend next weekend! Darhken Rahl Fri, 30th Jan '04, 9:47pm Why do you get a long weekend? Harbourboy Fri, 30th Jan '04, 10:21pm It will be Waitangi Day in New Zealand where Rotku appears to be from. This commemorates the day in 1840 when Queen Victoria's representatives signed a treaty with native Maori to take sovereignty over the land. It's the middle of summer there so a nice day for a holiday although there are usually some protest marches and the like that happen as well. Yerril Fri, 30th Jan '04, 10:55pm I still exist! Financial difficulties and serious techno-screw ups down here have separated me from my position for a time, but it seems that chevrolet has everything under control... Ofelix Fri, 30th Jan '04, 11:44pm Life has began to like me after all! :) My life in the past what? two week? have greatly improved and now I'm really really HAPPY! First I've meet this girls whom I haven't seen for a years, and now we're getting more and more close, I and suspect she has a crush and me, so do I in fact! Second I've finaly found times to do my two favourite hobby! Yeah Hiking/camping/Climing AND D&D and the sort of thing Third I've reseved my grade for the middle years, They are truly fantastic! The most important for my diploma Maths, French, English, History, and Science and I've got 77%, 73%, 88%, 98%, and 72% respectively MY LIFE IS GOOOOOOOODDD! :p btw, I'm sorry but I was too happy to keep that silent...! Baldrak Fri, 30th Jan '04, 11:49pm Why be sorry that you're happy? Being happy is a lot better than being depressed! Ofelix Fri, 30th Jan '04, 11:54pm Of course, but I was thinking that you don't care about my life, well I bet you do but It's still nice to see I'm not totaly hated here! Dice Sat, 31st Jan '04, 12:32am Ofelix, I think a lot of people come to this forum to vent their feelings. I know I have. I imagine this place is in some way one huge support group for the bunch of us unique individuals. Wildfire Sat, 31st Jan '04, 1:18am Yay! Welcome back Morningmist! I was wondering where you'd been hiding yourself. Rotku Sat, 31st Jan '04, 1:30am It will be Waitangi Day in New Zealand where Rotku appears to be from. Malovae Sat, 31st Jan '04, 3:27am I'm glad you're not leaving Ofelix - that's what the last post I read from you seemed like. Being happy is soooooo much better than being upset/depressed. I just finished work so being up at 2AM is ok tonight :D MMMMMnnnnn, Chilli Con Carni is nice :) Aikanaro Sat, 31st Jan '04, 3:58am This is a Sorcerer's Place news update: Today the channel of #sorcerers was invaded by those with malicious intent. It is thought that they were led by Exitium, who wished revenge over an argument with Spellbound and Taluntain. The valient operators battled against the hordes, until eventually a state of +m was declared. This did not stop the onslaught, continuous joins and quits still interrupted the conversation. If Spelly hadn't accidently unleashed the Banned at the beginning of the battle, the ban list would be now a much greater place. It is still rather long, however, with Taluntain having fed his kick count by a respectable amount. Baezlebub Sat, 31st Jan '04, 7:41am Haha! Power! Sweet, sweet power! There was an immense storm last night, it got really bad. Two girls got crushed by a tree, someone died in a crash because of low visibility and roofs were literally ripped off houses. A 300+ year old fig tree across the street from my dad's work fell over because of the wind. I got home and the overhead lines were buzzing because of a surge, and we lost power. That was at 5 pm yesterday. We got power about an hour ago, and it is 5 pm, today. Anyway, I went and saw Underworld yesterday with my brother. It's a bit... underdeveloped in plot terms. But who cares, its got werewolves. Rotku Sat, 31st Jan '04, 9:04am A storm in the middle of summer? Strange place you live in. Ah, today has been so bored, even boringer than normal saterdays. *sighs* Oh well, archery tomorrow, so that should lighten things up a bit. Baldrak Sat, 31st Jan '04, 9:11am Saturday has just begun... In an hour I'll start a 25 km training hike and I look forward to it! Harbourboy Sat, 31st Jan '04, 9:16am It is an appallingly bad winter's day in London this morning. I don't want to go outside. Faragon Sat, 31st Jan '04, 10:47am Storms aren't all that rare in the summer. Nature does it's business as it pleases anyway. I want to get my hair cut (because I'm sick of it) and I'm currently thinking a navy buzzcut. However, I'm not sure if I'd be let into the clubs by the bouncers when I look like that :) So I guess I'll ask them tonight when I go to the clubs, and if it's no problem, I'll get it cut tomorrow after work. Loerand Sat, 31st Jan '04, 10:57am I'm tired. I had to go to bed very late yesterday because one of the girls from my class was drunk and keen on me :) Wildfire Sat, 31st Jan '04, 2:20pm Gah, Bristol University annoys me. They send me a letter telling me that they're going to give me an offer, but want me to come to an open day first. So I go to the open day, and now they've sent me a letter telling me that they're going to give me an offer, but still don't tell me what it is. *facepalms* reepnorp Sat, 31st Jan '04, 4:08pm Ah! After ten thousand years I'm free! And now to conquer earth! Meaning that this is the first time since my last post (http://www.sorcerers.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=006087;p=9#0002 89) that I've been able to use the internet. After that, I installed Norton AntiVirus 2004, and my computer crashed! Nothing would work after that! Not a thing! We took it in to get fixed on Monday, and it took them a week to tell us they couldn't fix it. Long story short, this is a new computer with our old hard drive. Baldrak Sat, 31st Jan '04, 11:19pm Mu brother has bought some tickets for the Ajax-ADO game tomorrow... On a different note I made one huge whopper batch of homemade chili yesterday. Yummy and potent. Harbourboy Sun, 1st Feb '04, 4:53pm Good for you. I am making smokey bacon sausage pasta bake at the moment. It's huge so it should be able to feed me for the rest of the week. No more cooking for me this week! ejsmith Sun, 1st Feb '04, 6:54pm What ever happened to the old days where you rolled in the tanks and moral police? What ever happened to the old days where people wanted results and not rhetoric. It'd take me three days to take care of this little rebellion. Harbourboy Sun, 1st Feb '04, 7:14pm What are you talking about? Ahrontil Sun, 1st Feb '04, 7:55pm Smokey bacon sausage pasta bake is immoral and outlawed where ej comes from. Keep it hidden and watch out for tanks. Harkle Sun, 1st Feb '04, 9:17pm Hooray! It's my birthday! And no, I'm not drunk right now. May I ask how old you got today? Ofelix Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 1:17am Happy Birthday! *Rise his glass high for you* Aldazar Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 3:17am Happy Birthday Harkle, somehow though, I think most countries consider it immoral to not be drunk on your birthday. Unless of course you're too far under the legal drinking age. Xei Win Toh Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 8:02am For some reason I have an unnerving feeling that something will go very wrong today... :mommy: Rotku Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 9:07am Well I have a feeling that if I don't go to bed soon I'll drop asleep at the keyboard, so guess where I'm heading now? 8people Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 1:57pm Hello... I'm sad... I have no internet *dies* Frosty is scared of computer mice- she had one that was possessed and I scared her with one earlier muha. I have to come on the internet on crappy school computers :wail: I miss Esion, my lovely Esion and her lovely internet... Okay, now I'm just getting stupid. Harkle Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 2:56pm Well, I'm now almost legal: 17. And yeah, I've eaten lots of cake. One of the best birthday presents were that I didn't have hangover at all :D Harbourboy Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 3:04pm What does "legal" mean in your country? Every country has different rules about what you do at various ages. Loerand Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 4:10pm I guees he's meaning that he will be able to purchase alcohol of some kind ;) At least, that's the "thing" in Norway, and to have a drivers license of course :D Malovae Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 6:40pm Hey, I'm almost legal to drink in the US. Not that I care  Loerand Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 6:59pm @Malovae: That's the attitude ;) Nothing's like some underage drinking :D Ofelix Mon, 2nd Feb '04, 10:38pm Anyway who haven't drank before legal age? Not me! At my last party I had a hell lot of vodka... hummm sweet vodka... I just noticed that: My Gems number on 30 is presently 16. It is a higher number than my age! my age? (60x-15x) /2 ;) chevalier Tue, 3rd Feb '04, 2:22am Sorting out private affairs sucks. The old chevalier has to clean up after the young chevalier. Choices made have bred choices to make. Decisions to take. Things need to be fixed and set straight, but fixing them will cut the links with the past. Will weaken the roots on which the future relies. And will thus breed choices to make which will breed choices yet to make. Such is the cycle of life. There will always be mess and cleaning up. And new mess made while cleaning up. If you don't want to end up as dust, there is a guy in Germany that will turn you into sausages? Dice Tue, 3rd Feb '04, 4:53am A week of cold followed by a week with a cold. The spot between my upper lip and the end of my nose is starting to sting and turn red from blowing my nose so much. My brain is fuzzy and I have been doing slightly stupid things all day. I think I pulled a muscle in my back when I was coughing. Chicken soup, chicken soup, need chicken soup. Malovae Tue, 3rd Feb '04, 9:45am Do you think tomatoe juice is just cold tomatoe soup. If so, would it be correct to say tomatoe soup is just warm tomatoe juice? Of course, for this super theory to have weight you would have to discount the fact that tomatoe soup has some kind of cream in it... but lets not worry about that one shall we. Faragon Tue, 3rd Feb '04, 9:47am Not just the cream, but also the pastalike substance and the meatballs in the soup. And the herbs of course. So basically, tomatojuice is nothing like tomatosoup :p Volsung Tue, 3rd Feb '04, 11:06am Woo-hoo! My 600th post! I'll finally get rid of this stupid Ziose gem! Harbourboy Tue, 3rd Feb '04, 12:49pm Zzzz . . there haven't been any posts to ANY of the SP Boards for over an hour. . . . everybody must be asleep . . .or working . . . . Anyways, I saw the three last Star Wars episodes today. They're quite good actually :) Harbourboy Tue, 3rd Feb '04, 10:56pm Which do you mean by the 'last three'? The last three released or the last three in order? If you mean episodes IV V VI then surely 'quite good' is a bit of an understatement? Plus it seems like you have never seen them before. Malovae Wed, 4th Feb '04, 12:43am If you've never seen them before, then I have to say - where the hell have you been??? But I don't think anybody could have lived in the 20th century and not have seen them - unless they were a member of the 'Empire' party, those guys lose apparently  Shura Wed, 4th Feb '04, 1:13am Hrnk! I think I've said that last part before :hmm: fade Wed, 4th Feb '04, 7:59am I have no digital camera, so thus no pictures of me will go up. Mainly because I am to lazy to scan them, lol. And the sun was up the whole time. Well, hopefully this will clear away a bit of that humidity. It's been an average of 65%ish the last two weeks, much much much to high for my liking. Rallymama Wed, 4th Feb '04, 1:45pm Arrrgh, the train station parking lot was a sheet of black ice this morning! I slipped once and fell twice, in addition to sliding as the car as I turned in. Loerand Wed, 4th Feb '04, 4:24pm @Harbourboy: I meant episode IV-VI of course. I guess I explained myself badly... And I've seen them all before(again: of course), but not all of them in one day, it made the story more complete IMO... Frostbite Wed, 4th Feb '04, 4:35pm *cries* Missed my coach. Last time I stay in school doing graphics work when I should be out there waiting to catch my damn coach! Loerand Wed, 4th Feb '04, 9:19pm Ahhh, just wrote a long analysis on the book "Holes" by Louis Sachar. Booooorrrriiiiiing  Lazy Bonzo Wed, 4th Feb '04, 9:19pm TIP OF THE DAY! Drinking a litre of an out of date 'energy drink' with lots of caffeine content before going to bed is not adivisable. It didn't wear off until 2 in the morning, argh only got 4 and a half hours sleeeee  Malovae Wed, 4th Feb '04, 10:37pm :( Only got in from work 45 mins ago :( Soooo tired! I have been at work for 11 hours. Ofelix Wed, 4th Feb '04, 11:57pm Tomorow is the Science fair at school :( :( :( It's going to be long and boring! I hate Science Fair! Rotku Thu, 5th Feb '04, 2:55am It's the weekend!! Finally! I'm off tramping over the Tangaria Crossing this weekend! Which for those of you who don't know New Zealand it's a tramp across the mountains where Mordor was filmed, and the mountains which in winter contain the best ski fields in the north island. Should be fun, apart from the fact that family from my dads side are coming as well :( Aikanaro Thu, 5th Feb '04, 11:36am I really need to find something new to do online. Jaguar Thu, 5th Feb '04, 11:44am And yet, here you are. And so close to 3k as well. What does that tell you? :p Aikanaro Thu, 5th Feb '04, 11:50am It tells me exactly what I said before. However, I do like the thought of this new upcoming gem :D Jaguar Thu, 5th Feb '04, 11:59am Are you going to post to brag like Chev did? Or are you more humble then that? :D Aikanaro Thu, 5th Feb '04, 12:10pm Well, if everyone wasn't doing it, I certainly would have. No one is really interested in those threads, they're really, really pointless. Maybe when I make it to 3500... I am now reading about fads of the 1940's for no reason I can think of or make up currently. chevalier Thu, 5th Feb '04, 2:56pm Woke up in a strange place and strange time. Realised 'twas four AM and good eight hours after I apparently fell asleep on my bed when my brother was on the net. How convinient. Perhaps I'll be able to fall asleep at a normal hour and set myself back in uni mode before it starts again with February 10. :coffee: :coffee: Loerand Thu, 5th Feb '04, 4:07pm Jusy got home from....tired :( butthre's soccer training today, so I might perhaps survive... I've been writing a stand-up routine for a competition here. I'll post it up when I'm done so you can unwittingly help me in the drafting process. Loerand Thu, 5th Feb '04, 11:07pm Ahhh, it's so nice to take a shower after training :) But now is it night.... Daephon goes to bed.... Jaguar Fri, 6th Feb '04, 12:01am Just made a cool twenty bucks on a lottery ticket. :money: And who said those things don't work? Kovalis Darkfire Fri, 6th Feb '04, 6:42am I won 40 bucks on a lotto ticket last Christmas! Today I printed a real looking, real feeling one dollar bill. Dont get all huffy puffy you legal freaks, I wrote void on the back and I'm not even going to consider trying to use it. I only made one to show my friends and trick them into believing its real. HAH, im the first person on page 15, so there. Aikanaro Fri, 6th Feb '04, 7:08am People, I would just like to mention this in passing... I have 3000 posts! Dice Fri, 6th Feb '04, 7:23am Kovalis, does the ink rub off when you smudge it on a piece of paper? That's the real test. Might be a good idea to stop making those however, unless your interested in a promising new career in license-plate making. Harbourboy Fri, 6th Feb '04, 9:02am Happy Waitangi Day to all New Zealanders at home and around the world - and to anybody else who wants a public holiday today. Aikanaro Fri, 6th Feb '04, 9:22am I'm gonna get #1 in the next Random Babbling, no matter how long I have to stay up... Jaguar Fri, 6th Feb '04, 10:22am Haha...you will not...haha!! Whens Tal going to pop in? NeoXro Fri, 6th Feb '04, 11:54am What does Tal have to do with 3 posts? Baezlebub Fri, 6th Feb '04, 11:56am Well, as soon as it hits 500, he pops in (when eveer it is that he pops in) and makes a new thread called Random Babbling #(n + 1), where n is the current number of RB. |
