I don't think what he said earns an award like this, seeing as t is perfectly reasonable f you follow it completely... of course, it's also funny as hell. So why not to award?

Methinks Arnie's comment was the less intelligent, as if you focus on what Rumsfeld said, is does make sense.

Focus on it how much. I mean, if you cancel out all of the double and tripple negative, he barely said anything.

He probably could have said it more clearly.

And as for Arnie, he just slipped up and put the word 'Gay' in there by mistake. Take that out and it makes sense.

Then again, Arnie just as well might have been refering to so-called "established roles" in a gay relationship, namely the "butch" and "femme" thing... buut then again, I sincerely doubt that he meant that.

Rumsfeld's statement really wasn't that complex. Funny, yes but rather simple. Maybe I'm wrong but I read it through and it made perfect sense to me -- and he's right even if he took more words than necessary to say it. Arnold's statement was much more laughable though even though it wasn't intended to be that way and Rumsfeld's was... Hmmm this is starting to get confusing. Maybe I'm pulling a Rumsfeld ;)

I heard that Rumsfeld also got the "Kicking Terrorist Ass" award.

Rumsfeld has earned that price and all honour that follows with it. He's the master of telling nothing at all with as many words as possible in a language everybody clearly understands. Zero-information easy to grasp.
