View Full Version : Random Babbling Post #15
Fri, 7th Nov '03, 6:39pm
YAY! It's Friday which means Color guard and attempting to teach one hundred amazingly complex baton manuvers that I know they'll never fully grasp. It also means that my school's play is on tonight and that after that all my guy friends are seeing Matrix Revolutions for the 2nd and even 3rd times. Yes, everyone in my town is obsessed with the Matrix. As for me, I still haven't seen the 2nd one but I really liked the first. To me it was kind of like those books they make you read in English that you sit there thinking "Wow, R.A. Salvatore is so much better, why am I wasting my time on this?" but then get all caught up in the symbolism and wording and just plain analyzing it. To me, the Matrix simply doesn't compare with my classic favorite movies but I love watching it because it oozes with symbolism and I like figuring out how they do the special effects (I want to be a movie director.) So that's why I like the first one and why I'm going to see the others this weekend. (That and as previously mentioned, all of my friends are completely obsessed with it.)
On a down note, I can't focus on my writing to save my life. Arabwel, don't feel bad because I've only got 6,904 words done on my book. (How did people in your class write 50,000 words in 5 days??? SERIOUSLY?! *wince*)
Fri, 7th Nov '03, 9:18pm
No more classes for nearly 3 whole months! :D
Only 21 hours of exams :(
And then after that, no more geography ever again!
Oh, and I saw the 3rd Matrix last night. Some things in it really didn't fit together right. And the first half made no sense at all to me, but the big battle sense was good. I'd probably give it a 6 out of 10.

Dragonfly - I've had four games that should have work on my computers and haven't.
However if I manage to get 5oo or so pounds by november I will be able to buy a new computer with double RAM for free and it shall erase the worries of games failing to work - but I want to keep Esion and Odessy as well ^_^
Oaz - if that is what you think of roleplaying then perhaps you do not understand it fully ;)
Sat, 8th Nov '03, 2:57am
So suddenly I'm not cool or smart or accepted because I don't see what's so fun about pretending to be an elf or an assassin? Well, whatever. The whole idea of roleplaying recently seems rather frivolous. But I guess it's the "intellectual" thing to do. After all, only |33t jerks powergame.
I need to start playing more Zelda and Mario. Or a good old-fashioned Icewind Dale dungeon crawl. That'd be nice.
Well, enough non-levity now.
Babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble. :square:
Sat, 8th Nov '03, 11:49am
Oaz, I was only joking, why else would I put ;) at the end of it? :)
I suppose roleplaying is just an escape. The chance to do things you wouldn't do really and being able to get away with it and be able to laugh about it afterwards with people who were there.

@DePaara: Date? Why not... If one can date friends for the meeting to be nice (as I've always done), why shouldn't you date girls in your present situation? Well, with no further action, of course. Heh, I probably sound like a priest now, but you're still bound by the vows and there's also that other girl (not guilty of your problems and possible casualty) that needs to know you're married and hoping for your wife to change her mind. Heh, should be all right if you don't do anything you consider wrong and will possibly regret in future.
Coffee! Maxwell is so bitter and strong. Quite nice it would be, were it not for some slight note I can't really identify, which however bugs me a great deal. With foam, of course. My mother wanted something special to wash down painkillers for her headache (no, she's not the like of me - that was a normal headache ;) ), so she got espresso poured over instant cappuccino powder and some cocoa powder. Cream foam over it and it was all ready. Good with chocolate gateau.

An update for those who probably don't care, my NaNo story is up to 10 978 words, and I'm kinda hoping it will gain a thousand or so more by the time I log off tonight.

Bluin, I tried that, it's locked. Any other ways?
Sat, 8th Nov '03, 9:32pm
Whoopie!!(said with sarcasm) It's my one week anniversary with my new Morrowind game I can't make run un my computer.
Think I'll throw a party
Sat, 8th Nov '03, 10:31pm
Your school computer has (most probably) got its Group Policy settings configured so that the toolbars cannot be changed (not without getting permission first anyway).
You should be able to create ordinary shortcuts to point to the executables that you want to run and drop them onto the desktop (or simply right click and copy the existing shortcuts from the start menu then paste them onto the desktop).
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 12:22am
Hmm despite the fact that I love the matrix, and pretty much anything to do with it, I still haven't seen Revolutions and probably won't see it for another week or so. Ah well.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 2:25am
Hmmm...cheese toast is good...but it makes you thirsty.
And it's a nice break from all those human flesh sandwiches anyway.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 2:40am
I once made a drink which was like blood. Tonic, grenadine, martini, lemon IIRC.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 5:51am
School prize giving tomorrow :(
3 hours sitting in a hot, crowded room, can't think of any better way to spend the day.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 5:53am
Chev, that drink sounds pretty good. I would mind one at the moment. My mind has been far too unclouded lately.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 8:50am
If you want a drink that's like blood, why don't you just drink blood? Not anyone else's- your own will suffice.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 9:05am
Shura...man, u da bomb...do you have to think of such EVIL things to say, or does it just come out. You made me stop and look twice at the sandwich I was eating. You sound like you're the missing son of the "Adam's Family".
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 9:53am
Blood is a "insert fancy word here". It makes you throw up if you drink it.
Back to school tomorrow. A final week of revision before exams. By the way, I got the Study of Society award at out speech night on Thursday. I rule, write that down.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 3:06pm
I rule, write that down Baezlebub maybe, perhaps does not if only, yes not maybe no rules
You Vampire! driking blood is evil...EVIL because it taste nothing, yeah I once drank some it taste nothing.
It's 9 AM I'm sick and I'm going to see Matrix revolution at 3PM woo-hoo!
Ecalp s'Srerecros no tsop!
Ain't I da man?
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 3:28pm
Blood indeed has a taste, and its taste can vary greatly depending on many different variables, the part of the body, the health of the body, the environment around the body.
Don't take this out of context, vampirism may have it's perks but I wouldn't reccomend it, I only defend the taste of blood. :D
The smell of rancid blood might induce gagging and nausea, but I don't think that would happen in small quantities of blood, fresh blood at least.
This doesn't sound weird does it? Sure does to me... I'm no vampire I swear! Heh. ;)
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 3:37pm
I feel really ill today and yesterday. it's just been a mean old weekend. Got lots of really boring homework I can't concentrate on, it sucks.
Why do teachers set homework that is so boring you can't do? Why don't they try and make things more interesting so we actually learn something?
And on blood: it does have a taste, too much can make you feel ill and it isn't really meant to be drunk, bit it doesn't taste as bad as people are making out.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 3:45pm
Ah? It's maybe because I have an rare blood type (in Canada at least) , B- ?? Anyway Last Time I drank it, it tasted nothing...
Guess what? I'm the first one to add this in Random babbling... :yot: yup the first!
Anyway I'm not pround to say That I'm...still single D-O-H! Guess what my friend/parent said? ¨Your still young, you just have 15¨ ARRRGH My sister had a boyfriend at 14 and my mother meet my father at 15, and my oncle meet his ex-wife at 15 and so on... Why me?
Thank you for bearing my whinning... :(
For now and ages after, his pious Lord Ofelix, shalt be known as The lord of typo...

I command y'all - tell me what is wrong with my hastily scrawled french homework, that I may avoid having to check it myself.
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 3:48pm
You Lie! Blood tastes like nothiing else, but its taste is undeniable.
Finally the voice of reason!
Drinking blood gives you strength!

Sun, 9th Nov '03, 4:12pm
OMG! Yerril, now I know what you must feel about my english...so sorry...
anyway I'll correct ( As far As I can) your typo error, 'coz I have really nothing to do
Je sais qu’il est facile de conclure [que] les familles étaient beaucoup plus heureuses hier,
mais malheureusement c’est absolument vrai.
This sentence make my wonder what you meant? I mean ¨Unfortunatly it is absolutly true.¨
I felt that this sentence missed a word, or something, I had ¨Somebody¨
avant [que l'] on ait [I change the verb but I ain't sure about the spelling] 25 ans. Malgré tou[s], maintenant, nous sommes obsédés.
by what? This sentece make little sence
Okay here ya go

Found my missing diary. Last entry was a poem/rambling kind of thing (keep in mind that I'm the kind of girl that everyone knows, but no one ever really talks to):
It's too painful.
Your words mean nothing to me. You don't understand
the pain. It hurts so much, leaving scars
I wash away the blood to hide my scars physical
I act as if nothing happened to hide my scars emotional
But I am still in pain. There is no cure
A-weemba-wup a-weemba-wup, a-weemba-wup, a-weemba-wup, a-weemba-wup, *repeats fifteen times* A-weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, a bum-ba-bum-bawaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.........
Sorry, too much Lion King lately :p

Hehe, I'm the exact opposite of Daephon, I'm trying to get back here and post like I used to, but when the chat is live it is so much more fulfilling. Stupid #sorcerers, taking up all my time, and not to mention BG2...

Any of you guys know any part of the New Revised Standard Version Bible that I could read from for my Prayer Service with the theme of "Hope"? I could really use this help.
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 3:10am
Heh, I'm doing the exact same as dman at the moment, minus the chat room part. The more time I'm on the internet the less time I'm studying. Why can't the exams hurry up and come!?
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 8:05am
I chopped the end of my finger off the other night. Its hard to type and play guitar. Who would have thought that the ring finger of the left hand had a purpose? When I say off, I mean, fleshy bit at the end there. But its still not fun. it wont heal because I hit it against everything. I have it bandaged and all but, you know.
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 8:52am
Ouch. How did you do that?
I hate bandages aswell. Any sort, doesn't matter. Let the wound heal by its self I say.
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 9:29am
With a knife. Really sharp knife. I'm proud of it, I keep it in good nick. I was slicing an onion and was holding it when I reached the end. Then I went through. Blood was everywhere. I soaked through a couple of tissues.
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 12:21pm
I remember some funny situation when my friends or family were greatly displeased at my making a tragedy of but a scratch. Guess their looks when they figured out that it was all about my shirt possibly getting a stain ;)
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 3:18pm
Heh. My ex-boyfriend went through the same thing. He was chasing his little brother around his kitchen, put his hand under a central table and tore up his finger on a nail. And then being the idiot he is, he just tried bandaging it, which of course didn't work because there was too much blood. So he wrapped something like 26 paper towels around his finger and taped it down with masking tape and in the morning it was a bloody mess. So he went to the doctor's where they discovered he needed stitches. Unfortunately, he'd waited so long to go there, they could no longer put stitches on it.... They ended up doing something weird with his skin folding it over the cut and then bandaging it but as the nurse wrapping him said, he's an idiot, so he kept taking off the bandaid and then it would dry out and start bleeding again -- this latter part occuring while we were spending the day at 6 Flags.

Hmm... What's going on with SP? It used to be such a lively place. Plenty of new topics, of new posts, always something interesting and now... stagnation :( Have you all got a life or something?
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 4:38pm
Hehe, I've gotten life a life. But that's only because the Winter is coming, and the Twintip-season is coming. Just wait until Summer, then I will "lose" my life again...
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 8:50pm
Allow me to extrapolate some teenage angst.
Aaargh!! What is the problem with me walking in the dark???!! How is walking home in the dark any different from walking home in the light??! Are all the THUGS that live in RURAL SOUTH-EAST ENGLAND gonna come out AND ATTACK A 12-STONE KID on a BUSY ROAD??! It's not even any more likely that I'll get run over, what with THE BLOODY HEADLIGHTS!!! Why oh why oh why do I have to waste MY time and MY money getting the damn train just so YOU feel better about yourself!?! AAARGH!!!
And another thing!! When are you gonna get off your damn asses and do something about my fried computer? Without even looking at it (OR KNOWING HOW TO COPY AND F*****G PASTE!!!) you assume that it must be MY FAULT that its broken, and refuse to invest in a new one. You ignore the fact that I have a job to do, and am unable to do it properly without ICQ! And the fact that it is the only way I can get my German homework in on time, and avoid getting kicked off the course for LAZINESS!! LAZINESS!? I do my damn homework!! I DO IT BUT I CAN'T SEND IT!!! And the fact that I use it for everything, including all my vital coursework that I am halfway through, and two seperate email exchanges with German and French students! WHY? Why do you insist on REPLACING THE HDD?? The computer is quite clearly completely buggered from overuse! You are trying to put WINDOWS XP on a PC with 64mb of RAM!! SIXTY FOUR!! Are YOU gonna reinstall all the drivers and software? Are YOU gonna set up the wireless broadband again? Are YOU gonna do all the work that I've missed??? WELL??? I mean, I'd pay for it my damn self if I wasn't working my ONLY college-free day to pay back my debts to you for a SCHOOL TRIP!!! Seven days a week from six in the morning 'til late at night!! I'm only a kid!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!
I'm done. End of rant. :p (Don't I sound like such a spoiled brat? :D )
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 9:09pm
Damn. I've got quite a load of assignments to do.
Guess SP will be free from my vile presence for a few days to a few weeks.
Looks like I can only get back to the "how to play evil" thread and the "D&D character" thread later.
Farewell for now.
But the hand of evil will rise again!
Tue, 11th Nov '03, 11:32pm
My first exam's coming up tomorrow. Should be easy though. It's science and my school has managed to find a loop in the new qualifications system which practically gives us aslong as we want to complete the science exam. But it still means I have to study :(
Wed, 12th Nov '03, 12:11am
@ Yerril You sacred me with your text!
I agree, Thing in SP seem to be going slow, So slow, too slow, Alas what can we do? Force People to post on SP? Created multiple account? Or just whine on Random Babbling?

We've finally got Whiteboard working! Now we might finally get some progress on the maps for kosp.
Wed, 12th Nov '03, 8:21am
Hey Rotku, give me a description of what you want and I'll draw you up a map. There's no problem there. I'll scan it and send it to you. Nice and detailed like, but don't expect colour.
I have to start thinking on how I'm going to finish my Study of Society essay. I've got tomorrows period to do it. And I should start studying for maths and legal. Oh well. I always pass with awesome grades without it. I wonder what would happen if I tried.
Wed, 12th Nov '03, 2:14pm
Wow. It's good to be back. Due to some stupid IPS mistake I was unable to surf to certain sites since last friday, Sorcerer's being one of them :bang:

I am quite upset.
The mother of one of my best friends, Samot, was my mothers best friend for years. However yesterday they had a huge argument.
Meaning at the moment I have no way to get home from school and I won't be able to see my friend unless I organise something with him.
The thing is, I don't know if his mother is my friend anymore or what. I have a horrible feeling they are falling out over me and that I've said something, she was like a second mother but now I don't know. I'm really confused and I don't know what to do.
why doesn't anything go right?
Wed, 12th Nov '03, 7:44pm
I have the feeling I made a fool of myself in the AoDA.
Learn by my example, children: Never pipe up on something you havent a clue about. :nono:
If she was like a mother for you then dont worry. Mothers have a wonderful forgiving heart, they are like that. :)
Wed, 12th Nov '03, 8:02pm
she always used to critisise me and compare me to her children making me feel stupid, but I thought we were friends. Then I find out my mother was paying her to look after me and the argument started when my mother asked if she could have me for a night.
Wed, 12th Nov '03, 8:29pm
8peeps, my mother *loves* to compare me with other err children. Its nothing uncommon, I think. :) But it causes me to go mental every time! Did they fight in front of you? That wouldnt be very kind of them!! :(

I've finally found what I think is the longest sentence in the Bible (Luke 3:23-38)
"He was the son, as was thought, of Joseph, the son of Heli, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph, the son of Mattathias, the son of Amos, the son of Nahum, the son of Esli, the son of Naggai, the son of Maath, the son of Mattathias, the son of Semein, the son of Josech, the son of Joda, the son of Joanan, the son of Rhesa, the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, the son of Neri, the son of Melchi, the son of Addi, the son of Cosam, the son of Elmadam, the son of Er, the son of Joshua, the son of Eliezer, thee son of Jorim, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Simeon, the son of Judah, the son of Joseph, the son of Jonam, the son of Eliakim, the son of Melea, the son of Menna, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son of David, the son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Sala, the son of Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, the son of Admin, the son of Arni, the son of Hezron, the son of Perez, the son of Judah, the son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor, the son of Serug, the son of Reu, the son of Peleg, the son of Eber, the son of Shelah, the son of Cainan, the son of Aphraxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech, the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalaleel, the son of Cainan, the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God."
Major typist's cramp now.
Wed, 12th Nov '03, 9:18pm
Baezlebub if we knew what we wanted the maps to look like we'd have done that ages ago. I think it's better on whiteboard anyway, because that way I can suggest something and draw it up and then Aik can say 'No' and show me how he thinks it should be.
I've got my first exam in 3 hours and 28 minutes :(
Wed, 12th Nov '03, 10:56pm
I'm going to see the Count of Monte Cristo tonigh with school, however we won't see the second part, because it will be ¨too late in the night¨ What's the deal? seeing half a play is like seeing nothing! Stupid school

Now, about me! First exam out of the way, with only 18 more hours worth of exams to go.
Thu, 13th Nov '03, 8:32am
I start my exams on Tuesday. I've got one every day for a week, and on two different days, 3 exams. Man, that sucks. Anyway, I'm set. Just do a bit of on the spot revision over the weekend. Also, I'm going to attempt to convince mum to let me go to a party that a mates holding. This weekend should go down rather well, I hope.
David Bowie tickets went on sale this morning. Unfortunately, I have no cash. Tickets are $95.80. I don't think I can get that sort of money in time.
Any donations to me would be appreciated.

It's Thursday if you ever wondered
Thu, 13th Nov '03, 6:37pm
HOW much for a David Bowie ticket?? Are you insane?
Anyway I'm finally feeling better (two weeks of illness is horrible).
Yay, I get to go out on the town tonight :D
Thu, 13th Nov '03, 7:43pm
I was home alone today. because of the incident mentioned on page 8 - my mother had to leave work and come and pick me up then drop me off at home and go back to work - she got back by six PM though, and I played on my laptop.
I'm going to miss seeing my friend after school though. After a couple of days I'll start getting upset about it. Just a little warning :p
Thu, 13th Nov '03, 10:14pm
Decline is more frequent and harder to avoid or return from.

I got my first wasp sting on tuesday. I have found another thing i'm not allergic to yay! It burnt itself on the light and dropped into my hand and stung me, vindictive little bugger!
Thu, 13th Nov '03, 11:12pm
I'm going to get my glass repaired tomorow How exiting my life is!
Thu, 13th Nov '03, 11:25pm

One day, a man decides to go golfing. He hits the ball off the fairway and into a tree. When he goes to get it, he finds that the ball knocked a leprechaun out cold. Soon after, the leprechaun wakes up and says, "Alright, you've found me. So now you get three wishes." The man thinks a bit, then replies, "I think I'm fine for now. Everything's going great. Thanks though!" He finishes his game. The leprechaun is pretty pissed off right now, so he thinks to himself, "I know how to get even. I'll make every one of his games perfect." A few weeks later, the man is playing golf, and the leprechaun makes the ball go over to him. He asks the man, "So, how's it going?" "Oh, it's great," the man replies. "I've had perfect shots since I started my game!" The leprechaun smiles and says, "So do you want your three wishes yet?" "No thanks, I'm good," says the man, and soon after finishes his game. The leprechaun is reeaally pissed now. He decides to make the man so rich, that every time he reaches into his pocket, he pulls out a $100 bill. A month later, the man is back for another golf game, and the leprechaun makes the ball come over to him again. "Well, how's everything?" "You wouldn't believe how well my life is going! Every time I put my hand into my pocket, there is a $100 bill there!" The leprecahun, hopefully, "Do you still want your three wishes?" The man says, "I have everything I could ever want! I don't think I need any wishes." He finishes his game, and once again, the leprechaun is fuming mad :flaming: His most drastic scheme yet? He's going to give the man all the sex he could ever want in his entire life! Next week, the man is out golfing again, and the leprechaun brings the ball over again. "What's new today?" "Man, my life could not be more perfect! Everything's going great!" The leprechaun asks the man, "How's your sex life?" The man replies, "It's terrific! I have sex 2 to 3 times every week!" The leprechaun is confused :hmm: "Why only 2 to 3 times," he asks. The man replies, "Well, I think it's great for a priest with a small parish!"
*edit* Why did they call it golf? ............Because the four letter "f" word was already taken!
*edit2* First snowfall yesterday! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! *dances all around the computer lab while other people stare at her*
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 1:57am
In the name of spam, Aikanaro, I answer your answer :D
What a busy day. As usual, I got up too late to make it for the first lecture today. So I started from the second one, as usual. Constitutional law. Booooring. Doctor M should be given a proper nickname. Valium perhaps?
I met a friend from school. Maybe she wasn't single ATM, but the conversation was nice ;) The conversation, augmented with two coffees per capita, that we had during a lecture, of course :D Ancient history, of course. Some initial piece of cake, but hey, at least not the boring administrative law I should attend at that time according to my schedule.
And then I met another friend during the boring civil law lecture. Unfortunately, she didn't collapse on my shoulder, but managed to keep awake until the very end of the lecture.
My CON must be huge and I surely have Great Fortitude because I had had only 4 coffees and didn't fall asleep either.
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 2:16am
Ara, your Ded Journal is, um, alive. You need to stab it or something. See if you can find some appropriate weponry at www.emode.com (http://www.emode.com). :)
Also, I would just like to take this time to remind everyone that Thief3 is due out in a while, and there have been promises of a "Return to Grass Roots" kind of system. I'm not sure if "hott female silouettes" is in the line-up, but there's always that glimmer of hope.
Also, there's been talk of a native DVD release, but I think that was after the Hallow's Een liquor run.
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 2:58am
Just been for another job interview and got the same old crap thrown at me - not enough experience.
When will these idiots learn that people in certain situations can only get experience by getting a freakin job???
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 6:52am
It's strange that. To get experience you have to do the job. Yet another unexplainable fact.
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 7:13am
I'm still waiting for donations from you stingey bastards. No wonder so little people have avatars. Your all too busy saving your money for yourselves. All it would take is 8 pounds and I'd have enough now. Anyway, I took donations at school today. I got 17 dollars. Nice effort for my reputation. I never pay them back. Anyway, 20 dollars more and I go!
Never say never.
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 8:07am
I got a new computer to add to my older one so that now I can network and play some hardcore multiplayer. Can't wait for that one, eh Baezlebub?
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 8:41am
I cant wait, yes yes. That shall be... elegant. Some serious multiplaying shall occur.
I'm going to try and convince my Aunt to go to the David Bowie concert with me and my brother. That would be awesome.
Hit the chatroom Khazraj, msn isnt working.
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 8:47am
Weighed myself today, and I'm finally underway to getting my old weight back. (After losing 5 kg because of that psycho GF tearing my life up) 66.5 KG at the moment, only a kilo or 3 still to go. :)
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 10:35am
Ever tried to convince someone that their friend has a metal testicle? It is a challenge, I must say :shake:
Master of Nuhn
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 1:10pm
Faragon, I want to gain 6 kilos. Perhaps you know somebody who could miss some? Let's call it 'lipotranversion'...
Aik, did (s)he test it? A good kick between the legs would be more than sufficient to find out.
In about 15 minutes I have bad or good news. Would I pass my test?
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 1:16pm
Should Baezlebub go to the party tomorrow night and prove to his friends that he does have a life, or should he screw the system and stay home and listen to music?
Thats not a rhetorical question. Answer it people!
Master of Nuhn
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 2:07pm
*drumroll stops adrubtly*
And the winner is: Master of Nuhn!
Well, I past my test and especially the 'verbal component' had to be rewarded with a few points. If you don't get it: I got a permanent +2 on my charisma based checks (/me says rather uppish)
Hey! You're a sexy beast with a positive Charisma modifier (I remembered that!). Of course you dn't want to risk that reputation and so you go to that party. Tell us how much dates you got when you return. :p ;)
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 2:18pm
We're building the scenario up, so no kicks to the groin as of yet. But remember, only one of them is metal ;)
Fri, 14th Nov '03, 3:39pm
+2 on charisma checks? tssk tssk tssk... You must mean you get a permanent penalty on saves vs inflated ego :p ;)
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 12:22am
Should Baezlebub go to the party tomorrow night and prove to his friends that he does have a life, or should he screw the system and stay home and listen to music? Go for the party you really should, prove to friends Baezlebub have a life...
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 12:57am
Faragon, are you err... sane? 66.5 KG for a guy is too much?
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 1:39am
I think what Faragon is trying to say is he is attempting to GAIN another 3 kilos. You know, to bulk up. Anyway, I hope its not the other way around. I weigh about 84!
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 1:46am
72 for me. And 195 cm tall ;)
Well, yea, I got that wrong. Damn, it's well past midnight. Anyway, a weight of about 70 kg is not good for a man... Faragon, you must be really thin. Especially if you have developed some muscles (muscles weigh 1/3 what fat weighs).
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 3:17am
I am posting from the Air New Zealand executive lounge in L.A. I must say, the perks of flying business class are certainly nice. I almost started laughing when I was offered freshly baked cookies during the flight from Toronto to L.A.
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 5:29am
First of the rugby world cup semi's tonight! Go New Zealand! :alien:
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 7:11am
Go Australia. I think I'll stay home tonight to watch it, and then go to the party if its still early.
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 10:38am
The Bible is a great place to grab names from when you're feeling rather uninspired. Either they're so common that it wouldn't be seen as out of place, or no one's ever heard of them. :D
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 10:51am
I see dead people.
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 11:51am
Heh Chev :) I am indeed trying to put on weight.
Me? Thin? :heh: I'm not thin, I'm just short. At 1.75 meter, (5'7 ft) I now weigh 66.5 Kg (145,5 lbs) Which isn't that bad, really. My height is the main reason why I weigh so little. In fact, I am quite muscular, having practiced Martial Arts for my entire life.
Once start fitness again I'll really bulk up again. If only I could find the time. Then I'd get back up at 70-72 in no time. Those were the days, I couldn't fit in my old clothes because of all the musclemass
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 1:48pm
I'm 5'3" and 59Kg, it sucks, I'm short and fat.
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 2:08pm
woo.... england playing tomorrow.... Go England!!
hey, how sucky are angsty song lyrics.... i friggin hate those whiney nu-stupidity morons who have nothing better to sing about apart from how much they hate their parents and wished they commited suicide that onetime they were drunk...
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 3:07pm
AH HA!!!!!!!!! Australia WON!!!! Yeah, godamn do we rock!!!! You know, all that time Rotku and Deathmage were predicting that NZ would win, Australia was training to win. And they did. They rule. Write that down.
I ended up going to the party. It was more of a gathering than a party, and I got there at about 9 30, so it was pretty quiet. And all the girls there were taken, so no luck for poor Baezlebub. Anyway, good times all round.
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 3:37pm
Heh, as I said, 195 cm (6'5'') and 72 kg (160 lbs). I'm as thin as your girl would like to be ;)
No muscles except some accidental gain that happens when displaying feats of great constitution that I don't have ;) It mostly goes to stamina (Bastard PrC level 10 :D ), but some to muscles too. They say I'd look well with more muscles. Maybe I should try. Currently, I'm working on my dexterity rather ;) Cha, cha, cha-cha-cha, etc
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 4:17pm
@ Septic Yogurt I heard that British people were to most football fanatic in the entire europe is it true? :D
Geee Your tall Chevalier, I'm a halfling compared to you! (174 cm 5'10)
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 4:37pm
Yep! :D You better believe it!
English, Scottish and Welsh fans really love our Football :D
We are pretty much Sport fanatics, but Footy is the top of the list :D
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 4:42pm
Bah. If a storm comes, it will blow you all away! I'm 186 and weight around 95 kg. Of these, I could use to lose 6-7 kg of fat, but as I'm working on it, it will just be a matter of time!
Septic, don't get your hopes up. We will have revenche after the WC in 02! :D Just wait and see! And as for the british being violent, the danish media has some nice footage of fights between supporters from Arsenal and Galatasaray.... :D
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 4:45pm

Sat, 15th Nov '03, 10:46pm
Arghhhhh, I have to work tommorrow and miss the England match - (and it's a wedding exhibition - what a load of crap) - but I get to go to a party on a boat in Durham so i'm not going to have a totally rubbish day tomorrow.
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 10:49pm
I'll have to study administrative and civil law for tuesday, which sucks. Sucks. Sucks.
I'd rather keep sitting in front of my computer, like now, reading and ranting and drinking my Amsterdam Navigator.
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 10:56pm
Whats Amsterdam Navigator?
Sat, 15th Nov '03, 11:47pm
I was just about to ask the same thing.
Sun, 16th Nov '03, 12:55am

Urgh, about Dutch beer...
I just had a Kanon (Canon). Should have drunk it on the side of my bed.

Hmm, no one's posted here in ages. Strange.
Well only 5 more exams to go, that's 15 hours left. And then it's the holidays! :D

Mon, 17th Nov '03, 7:25am
@ Ara, that sounds rather fun. Both being sick and having a suicidal relative.
France lost. Damn, that means that there's no replay of '99. Oh well, Australia are still going to win. All they have to do is keep solid defense and play a disiplined game, to avoid penaltys. Wilkinson can't win it for England if he doesn't kick.
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 7:38am
To be a bit more elaborate: Mostly pretended to be sick, but I did have a bdad flu.
Am feeling slighhtly guilty over mom overdosing on meds... been yelloing to her roo much.
NaNo is progressing fine.... Will finish before the week is over.
That is, get the required 50 000 words. Problem? Story will need at least another 50 000 more.
Am sill wondering why the story is going like it does...
Shura and Eze will kill me.
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 8:28am
My NaNo story died, I'm too damn lazy to write anymore, and I have a nice mountain of homework to do...
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 8:34am
Some of the really old posts are fasinating! I'm learning so much new stuff from doing reseach for KoSP!

It also makes me regret being such a hermit in my early months of Sorcering.
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 9:59am
Makes me regret the various times of being warded or internetless.... *sigh*
I remember when it was all so very new... I remember how I got thoroughly trounced for being an idiot, too.
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 10:42am
Ah, the good old days of getting thoroughly trounced for being an idiot...
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 10:54am
Am feeling idiotic... planning a Highlander LARP. I think I might even be able to make it work.... :p
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 2:50pm
Have to study, booo.
Administrative and civil law. Twice civil, once administrative, giving together three tests on Tuesday, which is tomorrow. Which sucks! Sucks! Oh well, and soon I'll have to go take my sister somewhere and that will be 1,5 hour off my time. Heh. Just hope I'll get civilised questions.
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 6:31pm
Hey Chev, feel really, really, really sorry for you - studying is a drag.
Last night was horrible, I got into a fight (verbal) with a girl from my mate's Uni and then her really big, and I mean BIG rugby friends turned up. I then decided to make a quick exit from the club whilst exchanging the most delightful abuse with them. Then I told the bouncer that they tried to sell me 'smack' and they got searched and thrown out anyway. Needless to say, I had the last laugh.
President Bush is coming to my town, I think. He's definatly going to Trimdon, which is very close to my town. From everybody I've spoken to about it, nobody wants him here, even people that agreed with the war in Iraq. Can anybody believe that the US goverment has 'requested' that the London Underground be closed for the duration of the visit - talk about ridiculous!
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 7:42pm
I'm ill. Bad throat, bad nose, and very very bad headache. Took me five hours to get to sleep last night, and two hours to actually get up today. I missed school though, however I only missed four frees and a physics trip, typical. I still have to do two essays for tomorrow as well :(
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 8:06pm
malovae - if you live in the north east, you may witness my friend being arrested by the police for trying to give bush concussion with eggs :) if he came to this town, abuse would be hurled by me... but i aint gonna waste a couple of quid to see him at some town miles and miles away.
Mon, 17th Nov '03, 9:35pm
Study... study... only 3 coffees, 4th on the way. Perhaps I'll last. Tomorrow morning are the tests. Then there's that evil international law class where the teacher requires active participation or at least conscious attention. No sleep until 2 pm. Then I'll maybe take a nap before I go back to the city for my low-level English course that serves only to get me points that I would otherwise have to earn with real work on French, German, Italian or other and the risk of spoiling my marks. Latin doesn't count. Needless to say, Greek doesn't either.

"In my thoughts during visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, fear came upon me, and shuddering, that terrified me to the bones. Then a spirit passed before me, and the hair of my flesh stood up. It paused, but its likeness I could not discern; a figure was before my eyes...." -Job 4:13-16
"Ah, could my anguish but be measured and my calamity laid with it in the scales, they would now outweigh the sands of the sea! Because of this I speak without restraint. For the arrows of the Almighty pierce me, and my spirit drinks in their poison; the terrors of God are arrayed against me." -Job 6:2-4

Guess what I'm now doing, at 2:16 ante freaking meridiem while I get up at 6:45, which is precisely in 4 hours, 29 minutes.
Correct. Studying. And drinking coffee. Ice coffee. You just dissolve the content of that bag in some milk from the fridge and voila, how the world is simple. You have your ice coffee. And you can study a whole lot more.
Just ten little pages and shower. And sleeeeeep! I have that Murder on Via Appia crime story to read. I'd love to, but well, even I have to sleep sometimes. Sometimes. Wonder what my CON is. Any bets?
Caffeine be with you, my brethren!
Tue, 18th Nov '03, 3:50am
Coffee = yuckey!
English exam today went a hell of a lot better than I thought! I actully got the whole thing done to a good standard, and had time to check it over. Which for me is a big acheivment in english.
Tue, 18th Nov '03, 7:04am
Coffee = delicious.
I did my Study of Society exam today. It was an hour and a half long. I was done in 20 minutes. Goddamn I rock. Write that down.
I also had my Japanese speaking exam today. That went a lot better than I predicted. I got a B+ (approx.), which is a lot better than I normally do.

Only three today and I slept for 2 hours. Maybe a nap now before going back to the city for the English course, screw it? Or more coffee. Heh. One test I deflected with my legendary talking skills :D Steered the conversation so nicely that the teacher ultimately realised there was no time for the test ;) The other one didn't go really well or especially badly. Pass/fail is probably the grade, so why bother how it went so long as you pass. Damn I forgot that little bit she asked about.

Got the results from my bloodsamples today. I am not sick! Nice. Now I'm just wondering what all this coughing blood all the time is about. Is it bad when your fingernails start falling of? You see, I've got this little package from northern ukraine. It's quite nice and glows in the dark. Hmmm, whats all those police and fireworkers doing outside? Strange....
Tue, 18th Nov '03, 9:37pm

Whee. I'm going to get tickets to first run of Return of the King. Going to stand in line from 4 PM to 6 AM on friday... But that's not even freaky... some people have slept in their tents in front of movie theater from monday to get those tickets :D
I know that I'm mad :p
Wed, 19th Nov '03, 3:19pm
:heh: I already have my RotK Marathon tickets. :D
FotR, TTT and Rotk all like one big movie. Woo!
Wed, 19th Nov '03, 6:00pm
I need suggestions on what to do tonight. I really don't want to be sat at my computer all night, but its beginning to look that way.
I've had loads of fun at work this morning. Being completely bored for three hours led to us lying down on the middle tier of a three shelf trolly and call ourselves Trollytron and Cybertrolly. The boss wasn't to happy but even he couldn't keep a straight face when we joined together and became... TROLLYMUS PRIME. lol. I can't stop laughing about it.

People are like clouds. Most days, they're very "up." But when they're put under a lot of pressure, they sink down. Sometimes if the pressure is enough, they hit rock bottom, and everything they looked forward to is obscured. Then they need a lift to get back up.
Wed, 19th Nov '03, 8:58pm
...and sometimes that lift is provided by something unexpected that was hiding in all the obscuring stuff.

And thus God created them man and woman, husband and wife. God said "They are logical. He is logical and she is logical, but in a special way." and blessed them.
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 2:04am
On a side note, where did these random babbling posts start? There have been 15, and one doesn't seem to last long than a month, so I am guessing 15 months. Am I right?
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 2:19am
I just checked, the first "Random Babbling Post" was started September 2, 2002, but before it was the "Post for random babbling, possibly with some sense" was on November 24, 2001. Almost two years of random babbling!
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 2:42am
Kind of scary when you think of it. Posts dedicated to semi intelligent spam.

Love summer - lots of hot women in tight clothes!!
on a side note - "Make love not war! Hell, do both - get married"
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 4:02am

Edit: Urge to do evil stuff, rising rising...uhhh 666th post... rising...
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 4:35am
I just came home from my Maths B exam. I nailed the first part, knowledge, but when it came to the MPS questions, you know, apply the knowledge, i failed all four questions. I'm going to pay for that, I swear.
That is too weird. 666 as well. Hey Ofelix, want to go and raise the dead, start the apocolypse or something?
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 4:50am
Well I just managed to stuff up my accounting exam. One whole section on personaly finance section. Oh well, I'm not going to take accounting again anyway, I've learnt from my mistake.
Only Geography (another mistake taking this) and Economics to go, and then it's the holidays :D
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 6:55am
Ohhhhhh, for Americans TURKEY DAY IS COMMING IN A WEEK. Yum Yum.
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 8:36am
Yay! I get to explain the origins of Random Babbling!
There have been more than 15, it all started when Slappy made the brilliant 'Doh! Nothing's been posted' thread. Tal picked up on the idea and named them 'Random Babbling, Possibly with some sense'. After they ceased to make any sense he started the count again, only without the making sense bit.
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 11:32am
The day this thread makes sense is the day when cows fly...
Hmm... I hate school.
Also, am getting flamed by nasty people. Not fun.
Edit: Have to edit, no one's bothering to post here...
I just spent a VERY embarrassing 10 minutes talking to my teacher about the picture manips I am making in class. Thankfully, he's not interfering... and possibly wants a print for himself :D

Happy birthday, have a nice party ! :D
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 7:40pm
Happy birthday, Frosty!
Just come back from uni. Borderline passed loads of fortitude saves today - five boring lectures in a row. Only four coffees, of which only two were quadruple and of the two only one was considerably empowered. No drinking. Not much wenching. At least my computer is still here.
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 8:49pm
Happy birthday Frosty! And been 15 will start to feel different soon. You'll look back and think, I was so young then. *shrugs* Or maybe it's just me who does that.

Those of you whose posts in here have been deleted, don't make any more on the subject. The accounts in question have been closed and the IP banned. What happened is NOT up for discussion. We were either dealing with a very sick person, or a person who enjoys thoroughly sick jokes. Neither will be tolerated.
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 9:21pm
Congrats Frosty!
I've had 2 exams this week, and still 3 are coming in the next week. Finnish exam is tomorrow. :( Hopefully I know that they are over sooner than I think.

Thu, 20th Nov '03, 9:37pm
Happy Birthday Frosty! Man, now i feel young, i always thought Octara and Frosty were younger than me, albeit by months, but now they are both fifteen and im still 14, gah!
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 9:39pm
Where can I find info online about forgotton realms? Background and history, maps, amature short stories.
Secondly would anybody be interested reading books showing the darker and seedier side of fantasy worlds? Are there any?
:( I can't go out tonight :(
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 9:54pm
Happy Birthday, Frosty. Yet another person on the Boards who is barely younger than me.
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 10:13pm
Yea, I'll buy you a whole bottle of booze ;)
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 11:07pm
I'm one step closer to owning all the games covered here on SP. I ordered Icewind Dale off Amazon.ca last night, through an SP link, obviously!
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 11:16pm
Weee Happy Birthday, I'm not the youngest weee!!! Anyway You'll soon find that age 15 is great, suddently your not a kiddies anymore.

PoR2 sucks. So sayeth the oracle. :holy:
Thu, 20th Nov '03, 11:56pm
lol, The Oracle... You high on caffiene again Chev?
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 1:37am
Only six, of which only two were quadruple espresso and of the two only one was specifically empowered with a full load of instant, so I guess I'm pretty low on caffeine.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 2:31am
Hopefully this falls into the 'better late than never' category but I just wanted to thank a couple of people who helped me out of a bad situation a couple months back.
In no particular order:
Rallymama, LKD, Mithrantir, Ara, Eze and Gollem.
If you don't remember the situation, I'll just say that you guys, among other friends from around my town, basically saved my life. So thanks.
Anyway, onto a lighter topic, met a stunning young UK lass today, changed my views somewhat on "the motherland" as I guess we 'colony-inhabitants' (is there a shorter word which actually says the same as that? I'm having a brain freeze) should call it.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 2:48am
2500 :tie: :coffee:
And 2:48 am, which is a perfect time to start reading if I'm going to get some sleep. See you tomor... later today ;)

PoR = Pools of Radiance? :D
BTW, are there any of those "paperdoll" avatars left, or are there only those char portraits?
or do you get that "paperdoll" by donating s**t load of money? =)
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 12:11pm
Ahh, all you younuns'. Makin' me feel old. I didn't know that so many familiar names were so young! I think someone needs to start up the semi-annual rareley politically correct "How old are you" thread.
Did my IPT and Legal exams today. I left out a question on the IPT and forgot a line of code as well. Bugger. On the bright side, I aced my Legal. Methinks.
Anyway, I think I'll hit #sorcerers and challenge DM to play some VQ+. Later Haters. Ha, I love that farewell.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 12:20pm
I have no CON score yet. I need one more coffee to obtain it. Bad busy evening, as on Fridays. English course - the highest level they have, I could teach this level in fact, but it's a cheap way of gaining the precious ECTS points. Just one pathetic exam in two years instead of two exams per year with even more hour-to-point-wise profitable subjects. And a dancing class later. Working on my DEX, you know. Besides, dancing is one of the most important professional skills for a lawyer.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 12:23pm
Of course, how else are you going to get the cases with the rich latino widow who is having a disput over her rich dead husband's inheritance with his oldest daughter if you can't do the dance of love?
I suppose you could just give her a business card, but you know. Not as fun. A lot less wenching involved.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 12:45pm
 Whoah! Our local student party had some seriously revealing advertising yesterday!
"BU" -strings look good. ;) :D

Can someone PLEASE go to the chatrooms? I am attempting to have an indepth conversation with Mystra. As you can imagine, its not very successful. Here's a sample.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, do you have anything of worth to tell me concerning the fiscal problems of associated countries around the world?
<Mystra> Baezlebub, sometime in the near future. Ask again tomorrow.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, I feel that you should nominate a topic for discussion
<Mystra> Baezlebub, we won't go there.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, I feel that we should
<Mystra> Baezlebub, no.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, I feel that you should nominate a topic for discussion
<Mystra> Baezlebub, answer hazy.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, Hazy you say? As in purple haze, by Jimi Hendrix?
<Mystra> Baezlebub, maybe.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, Jimi Hendrix was the ruler of the left handed guitar players. He could so fully manipulate the guitar that he earned himself a place in history. Did you know that Jimi Hendrix played at woodstock 69? It was an amazing performance, from all accounts. However, many of the people there did not go to see him for his spectacular playing ability. Did you know that?
<Mystra> Baezlebub, bad.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, Jimi Hendrix was not bad. The majority of people that went to see him went not to listen to him play, but to see him do amazing tricks, such as play the guitar with his teeth. He also would put on amazing performances, such as setting his guitar on fire.
<Mystra> Baezlebub, concentrate and ask again.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, have you seen Wayne's World? In that movie, Garth dances to woo his dream woman, but he dances to Foxy Lady by Jimi Hendrix. It is one of the single most well known songs of the time, yet not many people know that it was he that played the song. Isn't that amazing?
<Mystra> Baezlebub, no.
Mystra is an uncultured git. Saying that Jimi Hendrix isn't amazing like that. Sometimes I think that we just can't communicate on a basic level...
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 1:33pm
I'm coming, don't worry. ;)
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 3:17pm
Hmm, is it a bad thing when you find yourself in the shower making up complicated strategies to flatten a bunch of morons in a fight, then thinking it would be a good idea to make a computer game out of it, then realise that you couldn't make a game if your life depended on it?
(Ah, but a tactical fighting game, now that would be interesting)
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 4:17pm
In the shower? I've had to make up such strategies on the fly. Fortunately, morons are still morons. Use their own brawls if yours don't suffice. Or if you don't like overworking. Have mercy for the ladies. Remember, even heroes can't stink of sweat ;)
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 4:20pm
steel toecaps + shins = a fight you just won.
i'll see you in court :)
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 4:25pm
Better learn to use improvised tools. The effect is the same, but it's easier for the court to believe you were unarmed etc. A desk is a very handy device, you know.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 5:16pm
Am spending the weekend at the nasty place I left for the dorms. lots of ckleaning in the near future...
But, on the plus sidew, I might be in the chatroom tomorrow. Go me!
Also, did most of my christmas shopping... Spent loads of cash and still have loads of people who need gifts... Oh bloody yeah...
I wonder why I always miss everything interesting?
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 6:38pm
Mosmordre has a tizzite avatar Go on then, give me a clue... WTF does this mean?!

Fri, 21st Nov '03, 7:12pm
Woohoo, my first 100th post, and I go waisting such a great thing on here! DOH!
How are you all doing here? :D
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 8:26pm
Hmm... This my, soon-be, 800th post? :hmm: That's a lot of non-spammific discussion.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 8:55pm
Your avatar is cool.

Fri, 21st Nov '03, 9:00pm
You know that song that goes "Tell me when will you be mine? Tell me quando quando quaaaaando"?
Well, a particularly strange version has been dancing around my brain for quite a while. Didn't hear it off the internet, it's completely original:
"I'm on fire put me out, help me it burns it burns it buuuuurns..."
Fun Fact: imaginary songs aren't any less annoying when they're stuck in your head.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 9:31pm
We'll surely avoid scurvy if we all eat an orange...
I remember the not-necessarily-good old days of the Nothing Has Been Posted Post. I never looked at it.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 10:37pm
The owl is talking! The owl is talking!
How can a nine foot owl talk?!
It's just not right!
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 11:01pm
Giant Owls are of Large size (and up to Huge or even Gargantuan). They speak Common and Sylvan.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 11:10pm
But still, it's just not right!
And wanting to eat our horses, stupid owl!
Oh well, it's gone now.
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 11:18pm
WOO-HOO! I GOT MYSELF AN AVATAR!
Ahem, um, I mean "Yay".
Fri, 21st Nov '03, 11:37pm
Well, had to go to that dancing lesson.
Stoically, I made myself a coffee.
Stoically, I made myself another one.
Stoically, I took a glass, poured two shot's worth of booze, poured milk over it and threw in a sachet of instant ice coffee. Something was apparently still lacking, so I poured some Pina Colada over it. White Russian rules it all. Especially with coffee.
Spot turns weren't exactly my strong point, but at least I wasn't so stiff about those cheery Latino dances invented for youngsters.
Sat, 22nd Nov '03, 12:00am
It looks like some kind of mutated fly.
Sat, 22nd Nov '03, 12:11am
You mean you don't know what it is Rotku?
It's his very own pet Lim Lim (from PS:T :D )
Sat, 22nd Nov '03, 12:17am
Ah PS-T :(
Never played it.
Maybe some day I might find it somewhere.
Sat, 22nd Nov '03, 2:28am
And so, beyond hope, Wildfire is returned to us from beyond the shadow of real life (?), back to the meaningless Spam of Sorcerer's Place
Sat, 22nd Nov '03, 2:56am
Anyplace where it is possible to find PS:T? Also the fallout games would be nice too.
Sat, 22nd Nov '03, 3:15am
I have heard a rumour of a set which has in it BG1, PS:T, and Fallout 2.
I must be mad. After all the swearing of my sister at the computer when trying to learn Delphi, I'm reading an internet site about how to use it, and actually have intentions of trying.
Sat, 22nd Nov '03, 7:46am
Heh, I got that set.
Am torn between PST and BG as it's inpossible to decide on one...
But my NaNo is at 50.000 words, just need to get it on the net now... :D
Story is ghighly unfinished... It's barely stareted at this point!
Edit: I am making my first visit to FAI sincce... since I visited Eze in Tallin and we wrecked havoc together... and NO ONE ELSE IS AROUND/AWAKE!

Why do I always mis everyone int the chat...
wait, that weird convo with Sorvo did happen.
Going to chat now...

'Morning says a drowsy young man in bathrobe. He yawns widely a few times and mumbles under his nose coffee...coffeee...coffeeeee, repeating it like a mantra. Breakfast (as it's 1:12 pm, which is morning) is of secondary concern but caffeine must be supplied. There is no other way.
Sat, 22nd Nov '03, 1:37pm
I got tickets to premiere of RotK. :D I came back home 8 am and slept 5 five hours after that. Last night was great, although in the morning we had little arguments about tickets and who gave and how much money, because we all were so tired.
I saw Underworld last night and it's first run was in thursday. We almost always get movies late in Finland. Anyways, although it's story sucked big time, effects were cool and Selene was good goth-vampire-girl-hero.
