YAY! It's Friday which means Color guard and attempting to teach one hundred amazingly complex baton manuvers that I know they'll never fully grasp. It also means that my school's play is on tonight and that after that all my guy friends are seeing Matrix Revolutions for the 2nd and even 3rd times. Yes, everyone in my town is obsessed with the Matrix. As for me, I still haven't seen the 2nd one but I really liked the first. To me it was kind of like those books they make you read in English that you sit there thinking "Wow, R.A. Salvatore is so much better, why am I wasting my time on this?" but then get all caught up in the symbolism and wording and just plain analyzing it. To me, the Matrix simply doesn't compare with my classic favorite movies but I love watching it because it oozes with symbolism and I like figuring out how they do the special effects (I want to be a movie director.) So that's why I like the first one and why I'm going to see the others this weekend. (That and as previously mentioned, all of my friends are completely obsessed with it.)

On a down note, I can't focus on my writing to save my life. Arabwel, don't feel bad because I've only got 6,904 words done on my book. (How did people in your class write 50,000 words in 5 days??? SERIOUSLY?! *wince*)

No more classes for nearly 3 whole months! :D
Only 21 hours of exams :(
And then after that, no more geography ever again!

Oh, and I saw the 3rd Matrix last night. Some things in it really didn't fit together right. And the first half made no sense at all to me, but the big battle sense was good. I'd probably give it a 6 out of 10.

Dragonfly - I've had four games that should have work on my computers and haven't.

However if I manage to get 5oo or so pounds by november I will be able to buy a new computer with double RAM for free and it shall erase the worries of games failing to work - but I want to keep Esion and Odessy as well ^_^

Oaz - if that is what you think of roleplaying then perhaps you do not understand it fully ;)

*grumble*

So suddenly I'm not cool or smart or accepted because I don't see what's so fun about pretending to be an elf or an assassin? Well, whatever. The whole idea of roleplaying recently seems rather frivolous. But I guess it's the "intellectual" thing to do. After all, only |33t jerks powergame.

I need to start playing more Zelda and Mario. Or a good old-fashioned Icewind Dale dungeon crawl. That'd be nice.

Well, enough non-levity now.

Oaz, I was only joking, why else would I put ;) at the end of it? :)

I suppose roleplaying is just an escape. The chance to do things you wouldn't do really and being able to get away with it and be able to laugh about it afterwards with people who were there.

@DePaara: Date? Why not... If one can date friends for the meeting to be nice (as I've always done), why shouldn't you date girls in your present situation? Well, with no further action, of course. Heh, I probably sound like a priest now, but you're still bound by the vows and there's also that other girl (not guilty of your problems and possible casualty) that needs to know you're married and hoping for your wife to change her mind. Heh, should be all right if you don't do anything you consider wrong and will possibly regret in future.

Coffee! Maxwell is so bitter and strong. Quite nice it would be, were it not for some slight note I can't really identify, which however bugs me a great deal. With foam, of course. My mother wanted something special to wash down painkillers for her headache (no, she's not the like of me - that was a normal headache ;) ), so she got espresso poured over instant cappuccino powder and some cocoa powder. Cream foam over it and it was all ready. Good with chocolate gateau.

@reepnorp

Your school computer has (most probably) got its Group Policy settings configured so that the toolbars cannot be changed (not without getting permission first anyway).

You should be able to create ordinary shortcuts to point to the executables that you want to run and drop them onto the desktop (or simply right click and copy the existing shortcuts from the start menu then paste them onto the desktop).

NOT TRUE!

Blood indeed has a taste, and its taste can vary greatly depending on many different variables, the part of the body, the health of the body, the environment around the body.

Don't take this out of context, vampirism may have it's perks but I wouldn't reccomend it, I only defend the taste of blood. :D

The smell of rancid blood might induce gagging and nausea, but I don't think that would happen in small quantities of blood, fresh blood at least.

This doesn't sound weird does it? Sure does to me... I'm no vampire I swear! Heh. ;)

I feel really ill today and yesterday. it's just been a mean old weekend. Got lots of really boring homework I can't concentrate on, it sucks.

Why do teachers set homework that is so boring you can't do? Why don't they try and make things more interesting so we actually learn something?

And on blood: it does have a taste, too much can make you feel ill and it isn't really meant to be drunk, bit it doesn't taste as bad as people are making out.

Ofelix
Sun, 9th Nov '03, 3:45pm
Ah? It's maybe because I have an rare blood type (in Canada at least) , B- ?? Anyway Last Time I drank it, it tasted nothing...

Guess what? I'm the first one to add this in Random babbling... :yot: yup the first!

Anyway I'm not pround to say That I'm...still single D-O-H! Guess what my friend/parent said? ¨Your still young, you just have 15¨ ARRRGH My sister had a boyfriend at 14 and my mother meet my father at 15, and my oncle meet his ex-wife at 15 and so on... Why me?

This sentence make my wonder what you meant? I mean ¨Unfortunatly it is absolutly true.¨

I felt that this sentence missed a word, or something, I had ¨Somebody¨

avant [que l'] on ait [I change the verb but I ain't sure about the spelling] 25 ans. Malgré tou[s], maintenant, nous sommes obsédés.

by what? This sentece make little sence

I chopped the end of my finger off the other night. Its hard to type and play guitar. Who would have thought that the ring finger of the left hand had a purpose? When I say off, I mean, fleshy bit at the end there. But its still not fun. it wont heal because I hit it against everything. I have it bandaged and all but, you know.

Heh. My ex-boyfriend went through the same thing. He was chasing his little brother around his kitchen, put his hand under a central table and tore up his finger on a nail. And then being the idiot he is, he just tried bandaging it, which of course didn't work because there was too much blood. So he wrapped something like 26 paper towels around his finger and taped it down with masking tape and in the morning it was a bloody mess. So he went to the doctor's where they discovered he needed stitches. Unfortunately, he'd waited so long to go there, they could no longer put stitches on it.... They ended up doing something weird with his skin folding it over the cut and then bandaging it but as the nurse wrapping him said, he's an idiot, so he kept taking off the bandaid and then it would dry out and start bleeding again -- this latter part occuring while we were spending the day at 6 Flags.

Allow me to extrapolate some teenage angst.

Aaargh!! What is the problem with me walking in the dark???!! How is walking home in the dark any different from walking home in the light??! Are all the THUGS that live in RURAL SOUTH-EAST ENGLAND gonna come out AND ATTACK A 12-STONE KID on a BUSY ROAD??! It's not even any more likely that I'll get run over, what with THE BLOODY HEADLIGHTS!!! Why oh why oh why do I have to waste MY time and MY money getting the damn train just so YOU feel better about yourself!?! AAARGH!!!

And another thing!! When are you gonna get off your damn asses and do something about my fried computer? Without even looking at it (OR KNOWING HOW TO COPY AND F*****G PASTE!!!) you assume that it must be MY FAULT that its broken, and refuse to invest in a new one. You ignore the fact that I have a job to do, and am unable to do it properly without ICQ! And the fact that it is the only way I can get my German homework in on time, and avoid getting kicked off the course for LAZINESS!! LAZINESS!? I do my damn homework!! I DO IT BUT I CAN'T SEND IT!!! And the fact that I use it for everything, including all my vital coursework that I am halfway through, and two seperate email exchanges with German and French students! WHY? Why do you insist on REPLACING THE HDD?? The computer is quite clearly completely buggered from overuse! You are trying to put WINDOWS XP on a PC with 64mb of RAM!! SIXTY FOUR!! Are YOU gonna reinstall all the drivers and software? Are YOU gonna set up the wireless broadband again? Are YOU gonna do all the work that I've missed??? WELL??? I mean, I'd pay for it my damn self if I wasn't working my ONLY college-free day to pay back my debts to you for a SCHOOL TRIP!!! Seven days a week from six in the morning 'til late at night!! The mother of one of my best friends, Samot, was my mothers best friend for years. However yesterday they had a huge argument.

Meaning at the moment I have no way to get home from school and I won't be able to see my friend unless I organise something with him.

The thing is, I don't know if his mother is my friend anymore or what. I have a horrible feeling they are falling out over me and that I've said something, she was like a second mother but now I don't know. I'm really confused and I don't know what to do.

Also, I'm going to attempt to convince mum to let me go to a party that a mates holding. This weekend should go down rather well, I hope.

Music Update:
David Bowie tickets went on sale this morning. Unfortunately, I have no cash. Tickets are $95.80. I don't think I can get that sort of money in time.

Any donations to me would be appreciated.

I'm going to miss seeing my friend after school though. After a couple of days I'll start getting upset about it. Just a little warning :p

One day, a man decides to go golfing. He hits the ball off the fairway and into a tree. When he goes to get it, he finds that the ball knocked a leprechaun out cold. Soon after, the leprechaun wakes up and says, "Alright, you've found me. So now you get three wishes." The man thinks a bit, then replies, "I think I'm fine for now. Everything's going great. Thanks though!" He finishes his game. The leprechaun is pretty pissed off right now, so he thinks to himself, "I know how to get even. I'll make every one of his games perfect." A few weeks later, the man is playing golf, and the leprechaun makes the ball go over to him. He asks the man, "So, how's it going?" "Oh, it's great," the man replies. "I've had perfect shots since I started my game!" The leprechaun smiles and says, "So do you want your three wishes yet?" "No thanks, I'm good," says the man, and soon after finishes his game. The leprechaun is reeaally pissed now. He decides to make the man so rich, that every time he reaches into his pocket, he pulls out a $100 bill. A month later, the man is back for another golf game, and the leprechaun makes the ball come over to him again. "Well, how's everything?" "You wouldn't believe how well my life is going! Every time I put my hand into my pocket, there is a $100 bill there!" The leprecahun, hopefully, "Do you still want your three wishes?" The man says, "I have everything I could ever want! I don't think I need any wishes." He finishes his game, and once again, the leprechaun is fuming mad :flaming: His most drastic scheme yet? He's going to give the man all the sex he could ever want in his entire life! Next week, the man is out golfing again, and the leprechaun brings the ball over again. "What's new today?" "Man, my life could not be more perfect! Everything's going great!" The leprechaun asks the man, "How's your sex life?" The man replies, "It's terrific! I have sex 2 to 3 times every week!" The leprechaun is confused :hmm: "Why only 2 to 3 times," he asks. The man replies, "Well, I think it's great for a priest with a small parish!"

In the name of spam, Aikanaro, I answer your answer :D

What a busy day. As usual, I got up too late to make it for the first lecture today. So I started from the second one, as usual. Constitutional law. Booooring. Doctor M should be given a proper nickname. Valium perhaps?

I met a friend from school. Maybe she wasn't single ATM, but the conversation was nice ;) The conversation, augmented with two coffees per capita, that we had during a lecture, of course :D Ancient history, of course. Some initial piece of cake, but hey, at least not the boring administrative law I should attend at that time according to my schedule.

And then I met another friend during the boring civil law lecture. Unfortunately, she didn't collapse on my shoulder, but managed to keep awake until the very end of the lecture.

My CON must be huge and I surely have Great Fortitude because I had had only 4 coffees and didn't fall asleep either.

Also, I would just like to take this time to remind everyone that Thief3 is due out in a while, and there have been promises of a "Return to Grass Roots" kind of system. I'm not sure if "hott female silouettes" is in the line-up, but there's always that glimmer of hope.

Also, there's been talk of a native DVD release, but I think that was after the Hallow's Een liquor run.

Once start fitness again I'll really bulk up again. If only I could find the time. Then I'd get back up at 70-72 in no time. Those were the days, I couldn't fit in my old clothes because of all the musclemass

Last night was horrible, I got into a fight (verbal) with a girl from my mate's Uni and then her really big, and I mean BIG rugby friends turned up. I then decided to make a quick exit from the club whilst exchanging the most delightful abuse with them. Then I told the bouncer that they tried to sell me 'smack' and they got searched and thrown out anyway. Needless to say, I had the last laugh.

President Bush is coming to my town, I think. He's definatly going to Trimdon, which is very close to my town. Then there's that evil international law class where the teacher requires active participation or at least conscious attention. No sleep until 2 pm. Then I'll maybe take a nap before I go back to the city for my low-level English course that serves only to get me points that I would otherwise have to earn with real work on French, German, Italian or other and the risk of spoiling my marks. I've had loads of fun at work this morning. Being completely bored for three hours led to us lying down on the middle tier of a three shelf trolly and call ourselves Trollytron and Cybertrolly. The boss wasn't to happy but even he couldn't keep a straight face when we joined together and became... TROLLYMUS PRIME. lol. I can't stop laughing about it.

People are like clouds. Most days, they're very "up." But when they're put under a lot of pressure, they sink down. Sometimes if the pressure is enough, they hit rock bottom, and everything they looked forward to is obscured. Then they need a lift to get back up.

There have been more than 15, it all started when Slappy made the brilliant 'Doh! Nothing's been posted' thread. Tal picked up on the idea and named them 'Random Babbling, Possibly with some sense'. After they ceased to make any sense he started the count again, only without the making sense bit.

I have no CON score yet. I need one more coffee to obtain it. Bad busy evening, as on Fridays. English course - the highest level they have, I could teach this level in fact, but it's a cheap way of gaining the precious ECTS points. Just one pathetic exam in two years instead of two exams per year with even more hour-to-point-wise profitable subjects. And a dancing class later. Working on my DEX, you know. Besides, dancing is one of the most important professional skills for a lawyer.

Can someone PLEASE go to the chatrooms? I am attempting to have an indepth conversation with Mystra. As you can imagine, its not very successful. Here's a sample.

<Baezlebub> Mystra, do you have anything of worth to tell me concerning the fiscal problems of associated countries around the world?
<Mystra> Baezlebub, sometime in the near future. Ask again tomorrow.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, I feel that you should nominate a topic for discussion
<Mystra> Baezlebub, we won't go there.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, I feel that we should
<Mystra> Baezlebub, no.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, I feel that you should nominate a topic for discussion
<Mystra> Baezlebub, answer hazy.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, Hazy you say? As in purple haze, by Jimi Hendrix?
<Mystra> Baezlebub, maybe.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, Jimi Hendrix was the ruler of the left handed guitar players. He could so fully manipulate the guitar that he earned himself a place in history. Did you know that Jimi Hendrix played at woodstock 69? It was an amazing performance, from all accounts. However, many of the people there did not go to see him for his spectacular playing ability. Did you know that?
<Mystra> Baezlebub, bad.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, Jimi Hendrix was not bad. The majority of people that went to see him went not to listen to him play, but to see him do amazing tricks, such as play the guitar with his teeth. He also would put on amazing performances, such as setting his guitar on fire.
<Mystra> Baezlebub, concentrate and ask again.
<Baezlebub> Mystra, have you seen Wayne's World? In that movie, Garth dances to woo his dream woman, but he dances to Foxy Lady by Jimi Hendrix. It is one of the single most well known songs of the time, yet not many people know that it was he that played the song. Isn't that amazing?
<Mystra> Baezlebub, no.

Mystra is an uncultured git. Saying that Jimi Hendrix isn't amazing like that. Sometimes I think that we just can't communicate on a basic level...

I saw Underworld last night and it's first run was in thursday. We almost always get movies late in Finland. Anyways, although it's story sucked big time, effects were cool and Selene was good goth-vampire-girl-hero.
