AN new terroristic attack? Who would attack a residential area like Queens? Put CNN on everybody.

First update: They think it is an accident, the plane (Boeinbg 767) crashed just before landing on JFK.

It was an airbus A300. But this is getting scary, WTC, Pentagon, Milan, the russian plane over the black sea and now this. Who would like to fly now a days? Its almost that i am getting religious and start thinking about armageddon they did count wrong in the early days...

Well, however I am not afraid for Armageddon, you shouldn't be too quick with such thoughts. Just like everybody screamed after the WTC attack: Now we have a third WorldWar. They where all wrong. Plane-accidents always happened but now 2 planes where hijacked, all accidents suddenly become scary?

Plane crahed at Rockaways nabij 122nd Street en Rockaway Beach Boulevard. 246 passengers and 9 passengers abroad. People are evacuated due to the heavy smoke. Dow and european Indexes down, til 10 percent. An eye-witness said he heared a motor that was broken down. One motor fell of the plane before it crashed. 12 buildings on fire.

Just curious as to what defines a world war.
Is it when the whole world is involved, cause they are now in a sense. Or does it have to be all out war beetween all nations?

Now we really have to stop being paranoic here. This was an accident.

The only accident about it, is that the plane didn't crash into Midtown Manhattan. That was done on purpose. Had to have been, there's too many coincidences for it not to have. I'm seriously considering leaving New Jersey. 15 miles from Midtown, that could have been my neighborhood. :shudder:

There's a lot of changes which should have been made 30+ years ago. Now that the majority of Americans are becomming motivated/enlightened, they'll happen. The border patrol, marines/army, US Marshals, FBI, DEA....all of them will actually be allowed to do their job.

Then, in 20 years time, some bean counter will ask 'why are we still spending all this money for security, when it's no longer necessary', thus allowing the cycle to begin once again.

Fun and games till someone gets their out poked out.

I'm convinced that this one was an accident, however, something DID explode on that plane(caught on fire if it didn't explode).

There is still much to be investigated. Technician on the tarmac could have put a plastic explosive on the engine for all we know.
