Ohhh, I'm sorry. The same thing happened with my b/f, except we weren't living together. He just dumped me for no apparent reason.

Things change, people change. It sucks alot though but you seem to be a strong woman so you will pull through. Condoleances and best wishes galore though.

Although, I'm telling you: be merry. It's in fact a perfect reason to be not perhaps happy, but at least satisfied - better now then later. You now know how that is with you both and nothing worse will happen. If he didn't leave despite the tension, the tension would grow, erupt and blow things up a bit and that's nothing desirable.

I usually joyously celebrate such cases with a glass of wine.
