View Full Version : We got a puppy dog!!!
Sprite Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 2:43am I am proud to announce that Gnolyn Lochbreaker and I have a beautiful little addition to our family. I am so happy I could explode with joy (boom). She is half dachshund and half Alsatian (German Shepherd) but looks like a small hound. She is skinny with huge eyes and huge ears, kind of whiny and scared of her own shadow but very sweet and affectionate. We named her "Aerie".
Big B Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 3:03am Good name, how appropriate! We have seven Alaskan Malamutes back at home (I'm in college). Lately we have been on a trend of naming them with an "M" as the first letter. Maybe I can get a Mazzy, Minsc, or Melissan in ;).
DragonRider SkyWard Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 3:04am Awww! Thats soo cute! I remember when I got my puppy not to long ago. They grow up fast! So love the puppy face while it lasts!
RythmicBarbarian Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 3:05am AERIE?? uhh... good name, I guess.
But congatulations, may you live happily ever after and purchase another dog so they can make more dogs and more and more and more...
...I hate dogs...
Arkados Blackmire Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 5:21am hey me too. bad experience with a dog that pounced on me for staring at it and another that followed me home...
Dark Xan Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 5:36am i have 4 dogs and i love all of them
Mirkwood Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 6:12am Ohhhhhhhhh, a cute little puppy dog, all doe-eyed and playful... of course it'll soon grow into a lumbering menace that'll terrorize the neighboors, piss and **** everywhere, dig the backyard up, and eat a fortune in dog food. Enjoy!
Pastor's Wife Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 6:18am That's wonderful!
We have a border collie .... dogs are the best. Better than people sometimes!!!
Mollusken Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 8:10am Oo, dachshound! You can send that one in badger and fox dens you know. It will fight the badger or fox and chase it out for you to shoot it ;).
Firestorm Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 3:00pm I have a dog, a welsch terrier. It had cancer in its testicles, and it had to be castrated :(. But now its is feeling much better, its like a puppy again :)
Capstone Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 7:06pm A cross between a dachshund and a German shepherd??? /me tries unsuccessfully to picture such a dog. :alien: Congratulations anyway!
I love big dogs. Actually, I get along very well with any dog; some sort of mystic connection, no doubt. ;) I've made friends with some of the meanest, fiercest dogs around.
Mollusken Fri, 2nd Nov '01, 7:58pm We have a scottish collie here. Forgot to mention that. Here's a picture of Lady (yes, named after the dog in the Disney film):

Archer14 Sat, 3rd Nov '01, 5:12am I love german sheperds. I used to have one but I had to give her away when I moved to Alaska two years ago though. I recently got a new pup too. Actualy my mom bought him but I like him a lot. When ever I'm eating he comes over and scratches my foot until I eather give him some of my food or yell at him thought.
Headbanger Sat, 3rd Nov '01, 12:23pm I hope Aerie won't complain to much (and get's wings on her back) :)
Enjoy it, dogs are cool :)
