Hey Sorcerer, I like the new board update that shows when and which new posts have arrived! Now I don't have to try to remember what time it was the last time I looked at a post :)

Um... Hate to spoil your enthusiasm, but that's always been there. :)
Nothing has been changed.

Whoa! That's pretty strange then; I've never seen it before, nor the comments about the symbols at the bottom (the "new" on the main list of boards or the "red folder" inside a board). I'm not sure what I've done differently this time, but I've been coming here for a couple of months now! <shrug>

Ah ha! I knew I wasn't crazy... Here I am at home and the same thing happened. When I entered the BG2 board like I usually do from the BG2 page, no "red folders" and no description of them at the bottom. I click on the link to the main board list and no "new" icons and no description. So, I go back to the top of sorcerers.net and go to the main board list via the link there, do a refresh, and it all appears! Strange eh?

Hmmm... I know under "preferences" you can select whether or not you want your browser to remember your id and password for a year... Did you accidentally change that?

The auto name/password and red/yellow folders thing is all based on the same thing... Whether you allow the cookies the board sets to operate.
Every time you're working on the computer you registered at, you should see the NEW tags where something new was posted, and red/yellow folders.
If this seems to stop happening after a while, go to your boards preferences site and choose reset cookies (or something similar). Next time you'll log on, it'll work.
