Sarevok´s right. BG-1 and IWD are great games! Play them!!
I think that you´ll like Planescape Tornment too if you like a good story.

I'd say start with BG1 though. Don't know why.. maybe because otherwise it'll be a disappointment after having played IWD (great graphics and gameplay) and BG2 (all the rest).

Check out the games listed at http://www.sorcerers.net/Games

They're all top notch.

I've said this before, but I think IWD is great for the beginner. You create your entire party from scratch and level them up, slowly learning what works for each class and what spells you should memorize.

I ran into the problem in BG1 and 2 where I was playing a fighter/thief then added magic user/priest to my party. Being new to these games I had no clue what sort of spells I should have them memorize out of the up to 50 or so spells they had available at the time they were added.

IWD lets you slowly learn about spells, level by level. Now I'm managing a 10-12 level party with little problems and can't wait to finish up IWD and restart the BG games.

Bogi  LOL!

I guess she's just not too fond of elephants in pink tu-tus ;)

I'm asking me why....maybe she's a little old-fashioned and the elephants are male.
So the colour of the tu-tus has to be blue :)

Actually, gentlemen, it was an unexpected reaction to the word "jolly". Ahem... nevermind... Sorry to make you speculate... ;)
