I never played P & P D&D b4 and would realy like to but living where I do I can't so i was thinking, would it be possible to make a program that simulates this online, I have been thinking about this (and not knowing exactly how to play p&p makes this hard) but you could have a boxed view with one haveing buttons for die rolls one for the text (like a chat client) one for your paper doll and one main one where the rest of the stuff goes.
If you think you could help make this (if it is possible) e-mail me at dazidale@yahoo.co.uk or post here. If it were made I would also bet it would be quite popular,

No offense but you could just wait until NWN comes out and play that way. I'm not sure if all the work is worth it result. You could play in a chat room, if you trust the players to roll honestly. Or simply have the DM do all the rolling. I'd be happy to talk to you about PnP if you have any questions. Maybe the best to start with is to redd the Player's Handbook.
