You all know I have lots of mods eh? This weekend I installed lots more, Nath, Chloe, Enhanced SoA, Vic's improvements, CoM encounters, Azengard, Spellpack, Wild Mage, and lots of small quests and tweaks.

To my horror it caused a bug!

My highest level fighters had GWWs, but when I loaded they were gone! I checked via SK and GWW was changed with an empty screen, the screen was saying a line from a quest I did not know! What is worse, when my fighters leveled up, when I get the chance to get new HLAs and choose GWW, game crashes to the desktop! AGH!

I was in terror! Should I uninstall everything and re-install ALL my mods? (more than 30+) No way!

I tried to be calm. I thought, since the GWW was replaced by a line from a quest, I thought it was one of the quest mods I installed recently.

After some tedious uninstalling mods, I found it was Enhanced SoA mod to blame. I uninstalled it and everything went smooth, the bug was fixed, I was overjoyed!

My question is WHY? Why did it cause such a bug? Am I fixed? Is there NO way I can have ENhanced SoA mod? What component can cause it? If I install other components, will it be ok? Help!

Text in odd places suggests you installed non-WeiDU mods after WeiDU ones or installed a mod or patch while the game or a game editor was running. I'd suggest trying installing the mod again correctly and see if you experience an error again, or not. Though the HLA error does suggest it might be a mod-related problem as opposed to just user error.

I did not do any of the things you said above, and I don't have a single Non-Weidu mod.

I already tried installing the Enh. SoA mod again and it caused the very same bug. Then I uninstalled again and everything was fine.

Odd, isn't it? What say you? Please?

If installing the mod again caused the same error then it probably a mod bug. You should report it to the site the mod is hosted at, which I think (but am not 100% sure) is http://forums.spellholdstudios.net since the creator is likely the person best able to help you. :)
