What is this ability supposed to do?

I'm playing an Inquisitor, and I keep casting the spell in the tent that you find Aerie in. I thought I'd see through Kalah's illusions with this ability, but nothing is changing.

Kalah's illusions are superpowerful. There's no way to dispell them unless you do what the little plot requires of you (at least I've never heard of any other way). Other than that, truesight is good enough.

The only ways I know capable of dispelling those illusions are the natural thief ability of Detecting Illusions and Oracle (mage spell of 5th level I think). No other way I guess, but who knows? There are a lot of this kinda spells in the game.

Neither True Sight, Oracle or thieves' Detect Illusion will dispel the illusionary world in the Circus Tent. However, all will dispel the illusionary creatures that you would otherwise have to fight there. True Sight comes into its own for dispelling the likes of Mirror Image, Shadow Door and Mislead when fighting liches and mages.
