Okay, so i was just playing good old BG2:ToB and when i get the quest from Mae'Var and go from The Docks anywhere in the city Minsc suddenly starts talking and i can't see what he's saying!!!Then when i punch 1, 2, 3 or 4 and end the dialoque he either leaves the party or loses all his strenght and it lowers to 10 and everything else goes down the drain... :confused:
Please someone heeeelp me... :(

Sounds like it could be a problem with Unfinished Business and something else.

That sounds like the thing where Boo goes missing from Unfinished business. There was a topic about it last week.

No i only had the Dungoen Be Gone mod and the latest standart patch for ToB.Thnx for the other topic.I read it and it seems that i can't have that mod and a patch after it.Can i just uninstall that mod?Will i be able to play on normally?

You need to apply the patch (and Baldurdash's fixpack, if you use it) BEFORE any mods, so that is likely your problem. However, are you sure you don't have Unfinished Business? Because the 10 strength thing sure sounds like UB.

Anyway, you will definitely have to uninstall/reinstall something, but I'm not really sure whether it's the mods, patch, or both, or what the order should be. Best to wait for someone else who knows what they're talking about to come along. :xx:

If you want to do it blindly though, Minsc's STR is supposed to go down to 10. He's lost his hamster buddy Boo. Go to the docks and wander around near the Sea's Bounty. Minsc will yell at some kid -> kid'll run into the tavern. After all that's done, he'll take you someplace. After THAT go to the Government District and down by the fountain near Keldorn's crib. Some chick will be by the pool. Talk to her, etc.

I wouldn't recommend doing it blind though, since there alot of sensitive dialogue in there.

Yep, that sort of bug sounds like an install order issue. :)

Uninstall mods, then to be safe I'd reinstall the patch, *then* the mods.
