I have installed SoA + ToB, I have created a character too, but when the game is loading, the screen freezes, but I know the game is running (because I click and the character speak...).
Anyone could help me???

Do you get a message saying:
Assertion failed in InfScreenSave.Cpp at line number 1550.?

In the BioWare BG2 Tech Support forum I found a topic (http://forums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html?topic=435761&forum=10) in which several people had the same problem, one of them managed to find the solution (Patrick_Baguley):

ok - after endless hunting for answers, the cure was right there all the time

when setting up your BGConfig, if you have the latest nVIDIA drivers BG2 will freeze on the map load screen on WinXP with nVIDIA geforce graphics card; enable 3D accellaration and when the game tests and the screen will most likely flicker, click yes (i.e. "the screen did not flicker"), when you run the game, it shouldn't crash.

(I had to research hard for this and take into account what everone else has said to fix this, but its a lot better than installing outdated graphics drivers!)
