View Full Version : pregnancy variables?

Ok, so i wanted Aerie's pregnancy to hurry up so instead of using the Global cheat for the Romance i just jumped right into the AeriePregenantTimer instead. BUT because Aerie hadn't actually said she was pregnant when i did this i've now screwed my pregnancy variables and now having a baby isn't an option anymore.

She never mentions it at all. I was wondering if anyone knew how i could change the pregnancy variables back to the way they should be so Aerie tells me she's pregnant? And because i'm not very good at this could you put it in a step by step? The kind you'd have to give to a three year old? I'm very slow when it comes to that kind of thing.

Thanks for your time and help!

Oh and if i need SK can someone post a link and explain how it works?? I tried reading the rules from a site once but i didn't understand a word!

Also, i tried downloading it once but my Winzip is really screwed so can i download it any other way?

Thanks

You can dowload Shadow Keeper from SP. Just go to the BGII area and it should be somwhere under hacks and editors.

you don't need SK

And always keep a save before you do stuff like this.

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("ExpLoveTalk","LOCALS",12) will fix it - will take you to the dialogue where she tells you she is pregnant and also resets the pregnancy timer.

The Dialogue before then is triggered with resting BTW. Make sure the AerieRomanecActive is still 2 and you can do AdvanceRealTime if you are really, really impatient.

Oooook then, well i just did what you um...*advised* me and none of those CLUAConsole codes worked. And although i thank you for your help and i appologise that i'm asking stupid questions as i'm a newbie, but i dont appreciate your sarcasm thank you very much. If it was so much of an effort to help a fellow gamer then why answer? Anyway, like i said, the codes didn't work. Thanks anyway.

Hmmmm....I'm not sure how exactly to help you, but I think I may be able to point you in the right direction. Baldurdash(http://www.baldurdash.org) has quite a few bugfixes and things of that nature. You could try that site and see if the particular bug with Aerie is in his list. If not, maybe you can e-mail the person in charge of Baldurdash and ask him/her. I'm sorry I can't exactly help you step by step, because I haven't gotten that far with Aerie yet. As for SK, did you try to dowload it through the site it's linked to, or directly from SP? I've found that I can only download it from SP.

Hmm... those CLUAConsole codes look right, SK won't help you and Baldurdash is no good... /me goes find a CLUAConsole expert.

@Saffy: I did not notice sarcasm in 8people's post. Seeing your location and typing though, your english skill might be lacking a bit, so don't get offended. ( j/k :p )

Taza - Ok no offence, but I’m not actually bothered one bit if my English Skills aren't good enough for you. I came to ask a question and to get help thanks. And if you found it hard to see the huge rolling eyes emoticon (which you'll find has SARCASTIC next to it) then I suggest you go for an eye test. And if you see no sarcasm or any kind of offensive gesture in "And always keep a save before you do STUFF like this" then my name is Boo.

You know what that sentence says to me? "You're a stupid newbie and you shouldn’t make stupid mistakes like this." Just because I’m new to the game and these boards doesn't mean I’m stupid. Just because I haven't been here as long as you and know all the things you do doesn't mean I should be treated any differently.

And as I’ve lived in England for 16 years and talked English for 16 years I think I know how to speak the English language. If it's not good enough for you I suggest you hush and step because frankly you don't even know me. For all you know I could have been in a rush and that's why any typo or bad grammar was made. Jeez I’m 16 for god’s sake. If you expect every person you come across in life to be perfect at everything you're getting yourself in the wrong frame of mind love. I know you put j/k next to what you said but I don't think there was any need for that comment. If you're shallow enough to have a go at me just because of my grammar and typo then don't even bother complaining. Thanks for your time and help.

Radithrade - Cheers for your help much appreciated.

Whoa Saffy, I think you're jumping the gun a bit here. I'm sure none of the posts directed at you were meant in an insulting manner. Everyone who posted actually tried to help you. Don't take the extra comments and smilies as personal insults, I'm sure they weren't meant as such.

"always keep a save before you do STUFF like this" was meant as a genuine warning to keep a savegame somewhere safe before proceeding with the console commands 8people gave you. How you could find offense in that is beyond me. Chill out.

I think I have an explanation for why the codes did not work.

Unlike SoA, the romance dialogues in ToB are not triggered by timers. What Chapter of the game are you currently in?

Chapter 8. Wow i never knew that! That explains things doesn't it?

Yes, that would explain it.

IIRC, Aerie cannot get pregnant until Chapter Nine.
