Has anyone else been as cheesy as me and tried to get Immy to learn all the level 9 spells you can buy... e.g. the unlimited "wishes" you get in the ungraded Adventurers' Mart.

It appears that Immy can relearn all the level 9 spells without deleting them from her spell book.

Always seems a bit of a bug but I can't resist turning gold into exp in this way!

Didn't know that, either. But how is this really any different from erasing and re-scribing? (Other than you don't run the risk of having the re-scribing fail.)

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. She earns XP from what she learns from trying to copy the advanced spell to her spellbook, but she can't cast it because she hasn't quite got the intelligence. It is reasonable to assume that someone would be able to copy something correctly but not fully understand all of it.

I would have thought it posible (you can get Immy to scribe lvl 8 spells straight out of Irenicus' dungeon).
Anyway, where can you get this Upgraded Adventurer Mart (I've never heard of it and cant find it in a google search)

It's the special wares option Ribald Barterman gives when you return from the underdark. I costs 50 gold to only see them but there are a few very nice items.

so am i the only one who has found this out about immy and lvl 9 spells. i found it when i scribed the freedom spells from the underdark... and then couldn't remember if i had and did it again. then counted up and realised i'd already done it.

why only immy and lvl 9 spells are affected i don't know. it does mean that when you get back from the underdark you can convert all your gold to exp which can be quite a lot! get 25 char, 20 rep then buy buy buy...
