I am in the Cave of the Dead in Amkethran. After completing the quest and killing the lich, I see 4 tables and a bunch of doorways above. The two guides I use for reference say nothing about these. Unless maybe you have to come back here later in the game. I do not read ahead in the guides, I just read when I am stuck for a hint or I think I just screwed up.

I have unlocked all the doors on the walkways except one that says you must have a special key. I also have turned all 4 tables. The 4th table I turn releases all the slimes. Many Many slimes.

Do the slimes EVER end? Is turning all 4 tables the answer to unlocking the door? Or should I ignore the door and slime table for now and come back to the cave later in the game?

Ok, Thanks. I did go back and kill the slimes with fire. Then it was kinda dissapointing. Instead of the experience for 100 of slimes, I only killed 4 and they stayed dead. Oh well almost at the end now so more experience/levels is pretty moot at this point. I still cannot get through the dorr so yes, I figure that it comes in later. Maybe as the way in to the Monastary. I will see. Right now as I type, I am taking a break from gettiing may azz royally kicked by the brown dragon. Oh well make a pit stop and then back for try number 10.
