View Full Version : Repeating Jaheira dialogue

Every now and again, and once incessantly every two seconds until I rebooted the game, Jaheira repeats her dialogue about how the party shouldn't be wasting time, and should act. This has begun to grow tiresome after the seventh or eighth recurrence.

Could those more wise in the way of setting globals and such in BG2 explain how to put this dialogue to rest once and for all?

If I had my way, there'd be something that forces every BG2 player to link to this site before starting their games (Then again, the less competition for me, the better. ):

Bear in mind that this tends to be a preventative fix for the Jaheira romance. It sometimes, but not always, can fix problems after they've occurred. The site also contains CLUAconsole advice.

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't seem to apply to my case, as the PC isn't romancing Jaheira and the run-down doesn't mention the dialogue in question, either.

The looping's probably fixed in the Baldurdash packs, but as I can't get my computer with BG2 hooked up to the net just now for various logistical reasons, I was hoping someone with greater CLUA-fu than I could offer the right commands.

Oh well, I shall have to wait, then.
