I recently got Throne of Bhaal but I don't have Shadows of Amn so I can't play it. I'll be getting it in a few weeks or so. But, I am a little "worried". What's the difference between Throne of Bhaal and Shadows of Amn? Will Throne of Bhaal completely change Shadows of Amn and it's storyline? Will it add new NPCs? Will it add new chapters?

If you could answer these questions, I would be REALLY grateful.

There is a new NPC plus romances. Chapters run after the SoA saga, not like BGI where it runs concurrent to the game, the only thing you can do is access the Watchers Keep before starting ToB.
