So, Tarl just came and told Anomen to check talk with his dad about his sister's murder. So, I go to the Gov't. District and talk with the doorkeeper outside, but when I try to open the door it is still locked. :confused:

Has this happened to anyone before? I can't figure out what's causing this issue.

Do you have the patch? It can fix the bug. Or, do you have any mods? It can easily be a nasty mod-conflict as well. :aww:

Other than that, I guess you will need a CLUA code to fix the quest, hope Felinoid or Sikret or any other code guru can help you!

Well, if the messenger came to get Anomen, the door should be open. Only one of them, though, the one right behind the door guard. The one farther up the screen doesn't get opened for some reason.

I think I saw CamDawg mentioning this in a post on Gibberlings 2, maybe it's fixed in BG2Fixpack ... or about to be fixed.

So, it's probably a mod problem. I noticed that neither Barg nor Xzar was showing up in the docks. I had TDD Weidu installed :rolleyes: and then deleted it since it was causing crashes. It may have had something to do with that, I suppose.

So, I uninstalled and deleted everything, and I've done a new clean install. However, now I'm getting a crash when I enter the Copper Coronet. So, I've got a new question now:

What would the preferred install order be for these mods (yes, there are quite a few)? I know the general preference is: Fixpacks, Quests, Items, NPCs, Tweaks. But, is there a preferred install order within these groups?

Install all of your NPC mods before the Banter pack. Decide which of your AI upgrading mods you want to take precedence and install that one after all the other AI upgrading mods, same goes for other mods which do similar jobs - make sure the one you want to have most effect is installed last of that type.

Fixpacks, Quests, Items, NPCs, Tweaks. But, is there a preferred install order within these groups? Are you sure this is the best? I would say: Fixpacks, Ascension, Items, NPC, Quest, Banterpack & things that are supposed to go last (eg Divine Remix, G3 Tweaks, Virtue, etc)
