What gives? I'm at the ice room in level 2 of Watcher's Keep and I can't even do a single point of damage to anything. I tried fireball, Agnar's(sp?) scorcher, wand of the heavens, they didn't even make them flinch. My 14th level fighter with Crom Faer and wearing frost giant belt just got his a$$ kicked. How can I kill these things if fire doesn't work?

You need to read the hints. In short, you won't do any damage or kill anything unless you open the doors from the poison room and reset the fan in the air room to high. The poison makes them vulnerable.

Read the hints aye? What a novel idea. Sorry to have bothered you all! Poison gas, why didn't I think of that?

Don't worry I had to use a walkthrough for this level.

I'll be nice and help you out with the fire guys while we're at it. That was my hard one. Close up the poison room when your all done with it. Then you got to lead the fire elementals into the ice room. They'll turn into an ice sculpture and then explode. Once they are all gone you can kill the giant.

Maybe he didn't want the rest of the level spoiled??? :nono:

Thank you for all the help! I would have been posting tonight about the fire giant but I found a walkthrough, as I was very frustrated and was sick of dying (man that fire giant hits hard). :eek:

I usually go home and play after work, which is where I do most of posting/reading. I find it a great way to unwind.

Your Welcome. Even with the clues I couldn't figure out the fire giant until I looked through a couple walk throughs myself. Doing it that way made sense but not to the clues. or maybe I just didn't understand them right.
