This is a programming language type of deal that will allow you to modify nearly everything in the game. And now that TeamBG is down it's your only option I think.

That one is a real pain in the butt to use to manually hex-edit everything though and it will not allow you to make new Creatures, Items, etc. without doing a lot of work. We're talking hours or days for every creature, item, etc.

I can't remember the link, but Near Infinity is another good tool to try to get a hold of.
