I have installed BG2 then the patch then TOB, its as if the TOB has knocked out the patch, I am in trademeet and getting the I am too busy bug with running under Windows 2000, is there a patch for this that can be applied with TOB in place because I want to tackle watchers keep while playing BG2.

Yeah, this is a known bug for ToB on Win 2k/XP. The latest ToB patch from Interplay (http://www.interplay.com) will fix it right up.
