Does it have a purpose? I carried it with me after killing her, but never found a specific use for it. I think I still have it in ToB, but I'm not sure; it might have disappeared.

If you're romancing someone, as soon as you enter the graveyard for the final fight with Bodhi your romancee will be abducted and later end up fighting against you. When you kill them, you can use Bodhi's heart to bring them back to life.
