Big up peeps. I need help.
I'm in Watcher's Keep, third level, and after fighting either the Baatezu or the group of Alu-Fiends, I found that Haer'Dalis had been deafened. I didn't think much of it, since those status effects generally wear off after a while. This one didn't. I've tried Lesser Restoration, Greater Restoration and Remove Curse. Nothing's taken it off. I tried resting, it didn't go away. I tried finding the deafening effect in Shadowkeeper, but I couldn't (though I wasn't sure exactly where to look). Does anyone know if it will go away in a few hours or something? It's definitely an active effect because it's disrupting his spellcasting.

Please help if you can.

I guess you've done something in Wild Magic room. The effects of that room is permament (i had a red Minsc through the game). Try remove curse.

EDIT: Khelben slaps his keyboard around a bit with a large trout

Aargh! Dammit!

Well thanks anyway, Mr Blackstaff. I was in the Wild Magic room with the Tieflings when I noticed. Remove Curse hasn't worked. I am very annoyed. I only have a save before Watcher's Keep.

One hard lesson I learned, particularly with Watchers Keep, was to save before entering a new area -- especially level 3 (hate those wild magic rooms). Another lesson learned was to constantly have my thief searching for traps. Too many times I would charge into battle only to set off a trap which, most times, would confuse me to which I would continue running around, setting off more traps. :bang:

Does anybody know if there should be a bit of Shadowkeeper that can remove the deafness. I really don't want to do the first two levels again.

[Edit] I did it! I managed to remove the irritating effect in Shadowkeeper.
