I am currently playing ToB for my first time with an imported game, and have been looking forward to the Saerovok and Vyconia (she was my romance last game) subplots. Sadly, neither seems to be moving forward. I have done everything I could to advance matters with Viconia up through the dialogue where I tell her that "the violence isn't me", and even used the cheat to jumpstart the next dialogue when that failed, but nothing happens. Is it impossible to go any further with an Evil PC, or is there something I'm missing?

Key words are "playing ToB for your first time". Don't advance anything, keep playing, rest from time to time, pay attention to *important events in the game*, and you'll be fine. It seems like her romance is moving forward nicely.

Um... first time with an imported game. I've played before with a character I created for ToB. Good times, but I enjoy having some real history and context for my character, so I'm enjoying it more with my BG2 port.

Well, if you played ToB before, wait for Saradush to be destructed, and Yaga-Shura killed. Romance will continue then, and if you've said enough good things by then in previous lovetalks, she will convert.

She doesn't really make a big issue about the fact she's converted - no fireworks or anything like that. If you tell her you don't like the killing (after the destruction of Saradush) and you've done everything right before that (the choices are pretty easy) she just says something to the effect of "I'll try to change" and that's it. Her alignment does shift to True Neutral though, which means she can no longer use the Symbol of Talos (grr)

Saradush is gone. I had the dialogue in which she talked about change, and I said I would like her to... and then she said that she didn't thin she could. And she didn't. Erg.

Then you didn't act "good" enough during the previous lovetalks.

But... I complimented her and everything!

*sigh*

Looks like I'll need to dig those "reset" codes back up...
