I think that it installs alright, When I load up the BGII game (SoA + ToB) I click on the Baldur's Gate Button. However I cannot start a new game, the screen just goes blank and freezes.

I've tried copying a BGI save and putting it in the BGII save directory but it doesn't appear in the game.

I searched the boards and couldn't find any thing of use. I have the latest patches and installed the ease of use mod when the tutu instructions said to install any mods.

P.S. I have followed every single instruction three times (between reinstallations) so I don't think this is the problem.

I don't know about your problem, but Colthrun probably has it down.

But you'll probably expierience another bug once you get to Cloakwood 2. It may crash when you try to enter it.

All you've got to do is go in your BG1 directory and find a file named "_ar2100.bcs" and delete it.

Thought you should know, as this stumped me for a long time when I first played it and I hear it's a fairly common bug.

Because you didn't launch BG2 but BG1? It is a mod for BG2.
